It's getting new seasons so is it popular enough or they reduce the budget of each season to make a new season ?

i feel like chinese anime just gets made and china has the money to just throw out anime as advertising for the source atleast thast's how i feel, i like this series i've seen all so far so no complaints

yes it is popular..if u r asking about whether the series is good.Yes it is a good watch if u have no problems with average animation and average art style...except that series is good.

on the budget i have no idea..but season 3 and season 4 have better animation than s2 and s1..so they have improved a little in animation quality.art style is worse in S1 and S2 too...S5 is good...so i have no prbs with this

well it is extremely popular (atleast the manhua is) the 1st 4 seasons were pretty good. But i have read over 600 of its chapters and it get boring and more boring, it take a lot of time for mc to go from one stage to another, perhaps in the anime a lot of useless scenes would get cut so id conclude that you should watch this! (atleast it aint cringe, unlike 100s of other isekai animes). Oh btw this is isekai tho it aint well explained of how he came into this world which is extremely similar to his og world except there is magic.

Let me be frank Quanzi Fashi is my favorite Web Novel among the ones I have read. Manhua (known as Versatile Mage) is quiet good while the Web Novel (also known as All Duties Mage in the MTL) is the best among the three. Season 1 to 4 of anime were fine with some changes here and there however season 5 was quiet disappointing as they started to cut down side characters who were very important for the arc. This very disappointing. And not to mention that Donghua makers have no sense/respect for the colors/art style described/used in the source material. TBH they should have stuck to 3D animation if they are bad at making 2D animation. Its not like they cant do good 2D animation Hero Return (Yingxiong Zai Lin, known as 'Hero? I Quit A Long Time Ago' in the Manhua) has great animation. Releasing a sub par animation is bad for the series. I would recommend you to read the Manhua or the Web Novel.

I'm a big fan of the original source material (Web novel), followed it from very start to the end. I would say it was fairly popular when it was ongoing. It does have a pretty sizable following. But it fell off pretty heavily towards the end. The ending was VERY rushed.

But the bigger problem is: both the manhua and donghua were very poorly made, compared to the source material. So if you've never read the novel, it sure looks like it doesn't deserve even a season 2. A lot of the details in the story were changed or just completely left out. Objectively speaking, I think the story itself is above average amongst the more popular web novels from China, but the storytelling, animation quality and VA of the donghua are all far below average by today's standards. But the source material was popular enough so they know people would still watch it even if it's shit. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

its as entertaining as a late night sitcom that you'd watch just to pass the time. the latest season, i feel, was pretty irrelevant in the larger picture. it felt more like a side story arc. i haven't watched a single season week-by-week, i just wait for the season to finish and then binge it on a day when i'm bored and have nothing else to watch. finally got around to the most recent season and rated it a 5.

surely it is popular in china and gaining popularity worldwide(pretty much chinese anime), but popularity surely not correlated with how investors think though, what's worse quan zhi fa shi has so many things violating china censorship including politics, bad military and governemnt stuff, blood, undead vampires stuff, violent etc

Budget is not a problem for the chinese. They make thousands of animes, some of them are those that you never heard of and some are totally meaningless, you won't even get the story. Despite some having 3D animation can be quite good like Infinitors. This one can be compared to Resident Evil.

But this my friend is actually a good anime to see, Quanzhi fashi. As one of those who watch it from the 1st season, I say this anime has a very strong story, background, characters, screening and the animation + illustrations are also good. So do give this a watch. Also as I said budget is not a problem for them but this anime do have a high budget.

I think they're too efficient, because of the PPP there , I mean India and China has enormous ppp , so they can make good graphics in a short budget easily that's the reason even though Chinese anime don't get much popularity outside, it hardly matters because their main target audience has always been the Chinese citizens itself .
