Welp looks like the started censoring the anime, they censored multiple of her pantyshots, here how it was in the manga for one example.

Here another example but this time with the anime equivalent since this scene was adapted but completely censored.

Also they censored the bath scene, they showed only her upper body in the anime while censoring the lower body part, here the manga example.

So we got an ecchi show that into the 3rd episode started censoring some of their scenes, let's if further episodes are also going to increase the censoring

I don't get why they would censor things sometimes, animes like high school dxd, haganai, ikkitousen and other ecchi animes.....they go all out, especially High School dxd.

Well they went all out in 1st episode, promising the same endeavoras as the manga.

By episode 2 the censorship started and now ep 3 which is completely cneosred compared to the manga.

And this is an ecchi anime like for god's sake, the entire premise is build around the ecchi, censoring the only thing making it viewable is not a good choice.

That's why I said it happens all the time. I don't know much abt ecchi animes but I guess studios do it because they can't show any lewd scenes on TV. Now you might say that they air those at midnight, but it makes sense because some kids just stay late watching TV. Later the studios would release the Blurays, which are uncensored.

They went for mass-appeal and I’m fine with that. You don’t need a shot for shot recreation to stay true to a story.

Ikr like for real it’s not like I mind ecchi parts in animes but saying there’s no reason to watch it just because there censoring it is just shallow since some people actually enjoy fantasy or other type of romcoms.

Let’s all be honest. This anime doesn’t really have much of drawing point besides the ecchi. Removing it just removes the key factor people are watching this for so I don’t get why they do that sometimes.

I hope so, I've noticed this pattern more and more, where the manga-to-anime adaptations are censored. Two recent examples are A Couple of Cuckoos and Summertime Render (in Summertime Render female nipples were censored). While it may not affect the story-lines it still takes away from the original creators' visions/source materials.

Censoring an ecchi show is the stupiedest thing a studio can do.

I certainly won't support the official release of the anime, instead pirating is the way to go.

Like they want customers to pay for the product but I'm certainly ain't paying for a halfassed product.

I don't watch anime because of the fact that it's ecchi but on the other hand, I don't like third parties telling me what's good for me and what's bad. That's why I hate censorship and that's why (in addition to the low quality of many animes) I'm stopping watching anime and sticking to manga.

There are no nipples in the manga, only outlines. Demon form tits weren't covered with fur in the manga.

Posting over a year into the future because this is easily the craziest take I've seen in months. My mans is literally saying someone is shallow for being upset because a show that has ecchi as one of its only three tags is censoring the ecchi parts. That's like saying someone is being unreasonable for being upset after they went to see a fast and the furious movie and it was mostly some dude going 70mph on the freeway in an Oldsmobile road raging at people cutting them off. Sure, they're going a little fast, and I'm sure he's pretty furious, but that's clearly not what people would expect from that type of movie and it's absolutely fair for them to complain about it.
