Violence Jack sequel?

Considering how popular this show was, how come they haven't announced a Violence Jack sequel yet? Same animators, modernise the show like they did in DVMN CB and it could work right? Hell I trust them to take a little liberty as well if they so wish and change things around.

Because Violence Jack isnt a continuation but is just set in the same world,the mere existence of its implies that the god was unsuccessful in bringing the apocalypse,which i dont think is a good thing.

Violence Jack isn't set in the same timeline as Devilman series, ik that because I've watched Violence Jack old movies and Devilman series.

Devilman Crybaby was pretty different from the old series and went original, but it was good. The ending was amazing and PERFECT. So Devilman Crybaby has Ended, if any original sequel comes out it will most probably ruin the show.

But I would like to see a Violence Jack 18+ animated remake. That would be amazing, because it's even more cruel than Devilman, trust me.
WISHED I COULD ALSO GET TRANSPORTED TO A WORLD FULL OF MAGIC And DUNGEONS, please take me there too if you could (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

Haven’t watched Violence Jack for over 10 years but from what I can recall it was more a product of its time (I still enjoy it though). In my opinion wouldn’t work as well as something like Devilman which has a lot of contemporary layers.

I’m just not sure how they’d make it as interesting as something like Devilman Crybaby and not just a one note kill fest and I don’t think it would be too well received unfortunately.

they've just remastered the old Violence Jack OVAs. Pretty sure it's just a 1080p upscale but they're shipping a month from now.

True. I'm not sure how they'd pull it off. Especially with amount of blood, gore, and nudity. The 2nd OVA has censored genitals so idk if they'd go down the same route or just apply extreme censorship.

I would love to see a Violence Jack anime, but I would rather they not make it in the style of Crybaby. I trust the staff of Cutey Honey Universe to handle it best.
