The Quintessential Quintuplets' types are Onee-san/ara ara, tsundere, kuu/dandere, genki and then what is Itsuki's 'type'?

| Edit: I should clarify that I've been working on this theory/hypothesis re Itsuki. And I have a very precise answer as to exactly what Itsuki's type is. I'm extremely confident in my answer, and absolutely no one I've told has disagreed with me when I have told them what I think Itsuki's type is. (They mostly just say I don't really have evidence to support it, though they don't have evidence against it. Devil's proof and all.) Hence, I'm asking to see if anyone has any better credible answers. Under my theory, you can say additionally Itsuki has types eat-suki, tsukkomi, etc. But without my theory, I don't necessarily buy those as Itsuki's types. I mean Itsuki is sorta those things, but I wouldn't say it really makes up Itsuki's entire personality as w/ the other quints. Many people agree w/ me too. They don't buy my theory, but they can't even identify Itsuki's type. Lol. In Higurashi/Umineko, failure to identify a type in my opinion is a resignation. --- Ichika - Onee-san/ara ara, Nino - tsundere (debatable but let's focus on Itsuki please), Miku - Kuudere s1 and then dandere s2 or something, Yotsuba - genki Itsuki - ? Like, what's 'quintessential' about Itsuki? Everyone keeps telling me to read the manga/watch the movie, but why is Itsuki the only 1 where I have to read the manga/watch the movie just to know what type Itsuki is after 2 seasons already when all the other quints' types are known early in s1? Is it seriously like (Higurashi/)[Umineko](https://07th-expansion.fandom.com/wiki/Umineko_When_They_Cry_(series)) where some of the [genres are 'spoilers'](https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/jxp6en/being_told_the_genre_of_a_movie_may_be_a_spoiler/) ? I don't think I really buy eat-suki, surrogate mom, diligent, tsukkomi or girl next door. | IMO, Itsuki is a tsundere. The difference with Nino is that Itsuki is the friendly and meek type, while Nino is the aggressive and rude type. |

| Yeah I always found it a bit odd that Itsuki and Nino had very similar personalities, but I guess Itsuki is a little more rational whereas Nino is the extreme. I sort of wish they would have had Nino and Itsuki interact a little more so we could have had moments to directly compare/contrast their behaviors. |

S1 she definately was more like Nino for the most part but in both seasons Miku eclipsed her both in terms of development and she was always in one way or another important while Itsuki in some episodes was relegated to "simply existing" which made me forget she even existed at times. yeahh I feel ya on that. It's really strange. I'm really looking for someone to give me convincing info that itsuki has a type that's not already been repeated. I'm really trying to disprove my theory but the more I try to, the more I'm convinced that my theory of what Itsuki's type is is true. |

(i haven't seen either.) i mean, is female protagonist or hell even male protagonist or protagonist a type? fuutarou surely has a type besides protagonist / male protagonist namely smart person/nerd/whatever. it's the same with like say kaguya-sama. kaguya and miyuki don't have 'male/female protagonists' as types. they're both smart person/nerd/whatever and tsundere. see. there's something. FYI the itsukiclassroom subreddit doesn't say itsuki is best girl or even best sister, just best quint. as for best girl or best sister, raiha? or should raiha be excluded? |

EXACTLY. some manga readers even apparently say this like itsuki was done dirty or itsuki went from female protagonist to ... side character or something. i think both sentiments even apply to just s2 instead of really the whole series. tonikaku yeah this makes me think itsuki isn't so 'quintessential' except for what my theory says. i'm really looking something here that tells me what 'type' itsuki is, but eh nothing really. |
