| Poor Zero, looks like she's burnt out on magic. Episode was actually pretty lightharted until that kid on the flower field took a bloody injury. Yikes. Glad to see Zero recovered though. I know she's a tough person and no doubt wouldn't let some magic fatigue keep her down. |

| What the hell though, the edge-lizord Kudo being the healer to expense his magic, and not even Hort and Sayb are let loose of their punishments that are accountable on Professor Los's watch. For Hort to get a personal lesson from Zero herself, she should be thankful that for unknowingly hurting Youhei, she would get a total smacking from Zero. But Zero's magical powers are much weaker now given her stature, and Sayb's link to Thirteen being his biological father that is a stark contrast between father and son. But otherwise, Sayb's atonement to accompany Laios, and Zero's request to open up a herb shop, gives him avenues to think about it. That is until the Remnant of Disaster orb manifested from dead animal corpses started manifesting and Laios landed a deep injury for Zero and Loux to do their magic restoration, that links to strange occurrences. Zero really is persistent against her magic depletiion, and Youhei really has no choice but for her to accompany around...while the enemy prepares to strike again. |

| Animation was a little rough this week particularly during the forest scene. Wonder if that was related to the delay from last week. I hope zero tells sayb about his dad and how they’re related soon. Could really help his development. Overall a really chill set up episode other than the little kid getting stabbed, some nefarious stuff going on behind the scenes of monsters are able to get this close to the village. Looking forward to seeing how things play out in this second half of the season. |

| It really rubs me the wrong way how they are constantly forcing Rox's pantyshots for no reason. She is great character and carries the show, but her design is awful. |

| I hate the design of Seville's shirt. The weird off-the-shoulder strapless thing… it looks so ridiculous, and so many shots of this show are shoulders up because it needs to be cheap, so he constantly looks like he's naked for no reason. Speaking of cheap, I'm pretty sure that you shouldn't be lifting somebody by the knees and neck. For one, how strong are his wrists to be able to carry a woman by the neck. For two, how is she not dead? |
| So this doesn't really have anything to do with this episode in particular, but holy fuck, I just realized this series is either a sequel or spin-off to one I watched in 2017...and I have no memory of it. None, literally zero(heh) zilch, nada. I even wrote a post in that series' last episode discussion thread back then and reading it again now...I have no idea what the hell I was talking about. XD I say anime can be forgettable, but the original series this branches off of...I really have no memories of having ever watched it. I guess I'm glad I did before starting this, but if I'm being honest I began watching this solely because it looked interesting. XD |
| Sayb is so frustrating and useless. I didnt care to much for him to start with but his complete lack of effort this episode just has finally done it. Ive never disliked a character for being useless before now. And for fucks sake why are you barely walking while trying to save that child. Psssh he seems as bad as texan police. |

| Sayb still being useless as ever since he still hasn't learned how to control his magic yet... And then Zero ran out of power 2 times... and Roux /wrist too hard... Tho, Zero apparently can't "mana transfer" from Sayb (they haven't tried kiss tho) So... this means we now have 2 high level witches that can't really cast magic without risks... |
