ichihito said: thanks also I find it odd that the fan base of this anime seriously low it's a shame really, since this series is extremely good but if i had to take a guess it's small fanbase is probably a mix of these reasons: 1. the first episode was dialogue heavy and the series didn't air in the chronological order, which was a turn off to some people. 2. the all girl cast was also something that probably some people saw, and thought this show would be a moe waifu bait. 3. it aired at the same time as made in abyss, kakegurui and classroom of the elite which are all extremely popular, so this was overshadowed for the most part. 4. it's sequel is a series of movies that are airing 4 years after the series, so other than the people who loved the show enough to search for new content, I'm willing to bet that half the people who finished season 1 don't even know that a sequel movie exist. But, there is a few things that can change this. 1. if one of these movies reaches the max potential of princess principal, it can go straight to the top 100 of mal, which can have new people coming into the series. 2. I feel like people who have seen this will start suggesting it, if there is a show like it that becomes popular. it's unlikely, but still possible. 3. word of mouth. I've been trying to get people into this, and i feel like IF that top100 worthy ark was to exist, with the help of this element the show could become somewhat popular. |

I would ask the hell did i do? but this is so uncalled for that I'm just going to assume you're an asshole who just wanted to say "hello, I'm better than you... anyways bye!" I watch both sub and dub. for some shows dubs work better. if you think something like black lagoon is bad in dub, you're a god damn idiot. while people like you live the sad life of picking between dub and sub and pretending like their choice is the better one, when this whole argument makes 0 sense to begin with considering how case by case the actual quality of the dubs and subs are. I will watch the best of both worlds, and enjoy my time watching them. Also.... 250+ completed entries on mal is not barely any. I can see that you have seen 750+, that's like in the top 1% of anime watchers. What i'm saying is It's not that I have barely seen any anime. you just have seen a TON. I got into anime like 3 years ago, so I haven't even been watching it since childhood or anything like that. I could have been 50 and had started watching anime 3 years ago. my age is certainly not the reason I have seen 200. and it is CERTAINLY not the reason I like dubs as well as subs. I just think people who only watch dub are newbies or casuals, and people who only watch subs are 2/3 times pretentious idiots, who have hardcoded dubs being shit in their brains so hard that they refuse to even give it a chance. |
