Lol, the title hero indicates Armin clearly. I am not saying Levi doesn't shine bright in this episode as a hero but at the when Armin says I was unable to be a Hero and after he died Eren says "No, you were the best hero".

Ya I think it deserves
1. Levi vs Beast titan fight was a cinematic masterclass
2. Armin's (not really) last moment of a hero
3. The emotions we feel along with eren after Armin died (technically)
4. And then the immeasurable pain of losing Erwin
This episode was not less than a rollercoaster for all.

(The same for Ozymandias)

So Levi’s fight is one of my anticipated scene in Aot during reading the manga.

Midnight sun is one the greatest episode in anime. Just one word for this episode "Perfection"

I love aot and I love that episode also, but number 1 episode of all time including every web series,tv series and animated show which are literally more than a billion is a little too much

I still think it deserves in top 5 and also there are few episode that I think were as good/better than hero like declaration of war,savagery,two brothers and memories of future

Nah, hero isn’t in my top 5 aot episodes. It’s probably in top 20 or so, so I don’t believe it should be the top spot (from aot anime).

Yes it deserves to be in the number one stop because a lot happened in that episode. The soldiers sacrifice, Levi beating the beast titan, armin’s sacrifice, zeke meeting eren, and they defeated Reiner and bertoldolod(idk how to spell his name).

Aot episode titles never indicate just one incident
For example "TWO BROTHERS" was the reference for Colt-Falco(Colt's death) , Marcel-Porco(Marcel being selfish) and Zeke-Eren(Zeke screaming to protect eren)
So you can say that the term HERO was for both Levi and Armin

Yeah it totally deserves its place
But it's not the only episode that has perfect pacing and perfect animation and perfect music , as of in anime the most close ones has to be two brothers, memories from the future, from you 2000 years ago, perfect game, declaration of war and few more from other animes especially HxH..
But as TV series there's of course Ozymandias, Felina , face off from Breaking Bad and the red wedding episode from GOT alongside with battle of the bastards and the winds of winter ... they're all close to the 10/10 episode concept

I personally don’t think it’s the best episode. I love it to death, but the thematic climaxes in the episodes before and after Hero make them better. There’s also the thematic climaxes in Grisha’s backstory and the last episode. It’s all amazing. Like jeez, can’t get over how amazing it is.

The amount of stuff happening in that episode deserves it to be no 1 on IMDb infact it deserves the 10.0 perfect rating

Ozymandias shouldn't have been 10.0 ,it's just too overrated for a tv show infact I would argue felina is a better candidate

For me personally the best is Memories of the Future followed by Declaration of War. Waiting for next episode tho.
