For instance: They have the same... chin? I guess? He just looks way cooler now. Which is also a pun. Furthermore there's also an excessive shift in the vibes from s1 to s2, partly due to the much improved quality of the textures and animations. It's almost like the production misunderstood the target age for the first season. But then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked. A s1 remake is nothing short than the best thing this title can get, as they already know how the models will look like from s3 onwards, and can adjust them to fit the timeline. The visual kei already looks perfect, so I'd even go as far as to wish for a s2 remake because why not. |

|| To me the decision sorta makes sense. Fixing the early issues enables all the sequels, whereas if they kept going they would have to rely mostly on already loyal viewers. Besides, they didn't really choose between the two options, they went for both. The sequel has also been announced for 2022. My guess is because they already have all the resources from s3+ the production of a remake isn't gonna cost a lot. |

| Glad for this. The animation in first season is a thing that will put off many, MANY new potencial fans. Better correct that and then continue. It's not like Douluo Dalu etc. that one still had decent and consistent animation. This one is just painful so good to fix it |

| im hyped for the remake of s1 it gives another reason to re-watch the full series while waiting for a new ep of s6 ^_^ and now even new watchers can enjoy the awesome animation s2 onward provides with out being confused |

| The reason why there are making this remake is that the original season one has a really bad reputation in China. Some of you guys might think the quality of s1 is acceptable, but for an adaptation of one of the most popular fantasy novels in China, its quality, character design and the changes in the story were just not what the people were expecting. I personally don't like s1 either, I'm very glad they are making this remake. |
