| Already? I'm relieved that at least we'll get to see a continuation. Hope the animation will pick up too. The slideshow "animation" in the last episode was noticeably bad and I think this anime deserves better. |

| ahhhhh! waiiiit a minute! that's a VERY mis-leading statement! anybody read Japanese for real-real here? because my browser says this: "DEC 25 " 2nd stage production decision "#faraway_paladin" 2nd stage production decision! will's journey continues! stay tuned for more information!" if that's entirely wrong, i don't mind if you can fix the MTL for me! it doesn't say ANYTHING about a 2nd season. a 2nd stage could be a game, could be an OVA/ONA or multiple disks, could be a movie, or it could all get tossed in the little metal circular file folder marked 'Trash'... putting out a tweet like that? is about as reliable as listening to ol Trumpy's tweets and believing he wrote every single one of them ever. if the big money guys and the studio knew it would be a 12+ episode project, they woulda said so earlier. if they had the cash in the bank, the butts in the workstations, the digital images flying around... annnd then everybody just took their Xmas/NewYear's holidays off... and were coming RIGHT back to work in the NewYear on this show... the announcement would be after the FINAL episode just like it was with Komi-san. oorrrr what was it? last season? 'Moonlit Fantasy'? moonlight? the one with the guy who likes shooting a bow and had the spider GF and the dragon GF... that one put out a little art-card at the end of the final episode saying... production is ongoing bla bla bla... but didn't give a season/date like Komi-san did. a single twit can be deleted and/or retracted. |

Zanfroni said: Is it going to be a second season or a second cour? if it was a 2nd cour, we'd have a Season or a Month or a Year release notification at a minimum. from what i've read from various sources for the past 30 years i've been watching anime... 3 month + cour breaks are actually planned-in for 24ish episode shows very VERY early-on in the pre-pre production meetings. basically, instead of doing a hell of a lot of intense and crazy work-schedules for six months to a year, the planners chart out the work over 1 or more years and put a nice big fat 3 month + long break in broadcasting. also, the work doesn't STOP during the cour break like most 'noob fans' think it does. "oh, everybody on that show's staff takes vacation and works on other projects for the studio during these cour breaks". no, the work keeps happening. but instead of a constant rush to produce 6 MONTHS worth of episodes ALL AT ONCE... they've got a longer production cycle of 9 months of episodes were the 'halfway point' Season is actually EMPTY of broadcast time. so if they'd planned this out as a year or more long project and had everything charted out for 24 eps... they'd have released this fact and said, 'Will will be back Spring 2022' or something like that. |
