I like it but the ending felt like it didn't have enough substance and just wanted to set up for a season 2. Also a lot felt rushed and like it didn't have enough time to go about the things it wanted to or should have. Overall a good episode but the ending could've been much stronger.

Well, that was one heck of an "assassination" to finish off with! Dia's father reaction was spot on, I doubt this falls into that sort of stealth killing technique xD. Add to that, the smooch in the end, and this is not a bad finale at all. I wonder who he was though.

Younger sister of Lugh thanks to being under the same lineage as his mother's, that makes a fair amount of sense if you ask me lol. I wonder how they'll amend that in the future when the two decide to marry though. Jokes aside, it's good to see that things worked out the way it did. As for the hero, is that a Season 2 hint?

Overall, the show's been a mixed bag of sorts for me. I really enjoyed the first few episodes and the Op is a banger but the show started to get slightly stale somewhere along the line. Thus, I’ll award this show a solid 6/10, the MC carried the show for me.

Thankfully the harem element didn't take centerstage for too long, can't say I was the biggest fan of it in all honesty.

On another note, the Goddess was hilarious. Especially her cosplay and mannerisms lmao. Credits to Tamura-san for nailing the role!

Not quite certain on the popularity or success of the adaption, anikore for one suggesting that it didn't quite stand out from the season's roster, but I'm down for more.

I surprisingly enjoyed the series, which I was quite hesitant going into because of the author's previous works. Aside from the few instances the eros derailed the plot pointlessly, and some scenes that felt out of place or pointless, like the opening rescue scene.

I wish the series was given more episodes to resolve this first arc, it did feel a tad rushed, completely skipping over anything that would lead you to understand that he was going to be anywhere near Maha before rescuing her, or why he was on an island, outside of the flashback.

With the way the story was going, by the end of episode 11, I didn't expect the series to be able to resolve the arc within the next episode, it did prove me wrong, but I also felt quite dissatisfied with the ending. We got some small foreshadowing that Maha received some news in the last ep, but never any evidence that she she had time to forward it. Yet, somehow, Lugh knows about it.
They had this cryptic sequence going on in the last couple episodes with the Goddess, but no real satisfying conclusion to it, just questions that will have to be settled with either the source material or a second season that isn't confirmed.
I give it a 7/10 (6 for being something of a relatively unique Isekai, and not the worst thing ever, +1 for the director (I assume) not going into the weeds (aka full on ecchi), which I assume the source material probably is.)

I didn't expect the Hero to appear in this season at all so this was surprising for me. Setanta got obliterated with one strike, he might've survived if he was the real hero. Maybe he still survived and we just don't know but seems unlikely since in the post-credits we also got to see the "real" Hero. I'm curious who the Demon Lord is. If Lugh became/replaced the Demon Lord it'd be interesting.

Assassin Aristocrat alongside Mieruko-chan are two impulse watches of this season which actually pleasantly surprised me, unlike Takt Op. Destiny and Fruit of Evolution tho that's probably not saying much. I hope this alongside Redo of Healer will get season 2s.

If a cannon isn't enough to get the job done, then send a tungsten nuke instead! I do like how this series likes to make use of overkill strategies and make it convincing and effective. XD

The final episode still had that feeling of the pacing being a tad rushed, but it got the job done. Setanta was the wielder of the Gae Bolg and he was strong, but Lugh's planning was enough to take him out in one strike. He definitely deserved to kiss Dia after the battle was over, that's for sure.

Unsurprisingly, the episode ends on a cliffhanger where the actual hero finally gets revealed, so I will assume that a second season will happened sometime down the line.

Overall, this series has been a nice enjoyment. Production values was a bit hit or miss a lot of the time. the OP/ED visuals looked great and the earlier episodes had strong animation and good use of CGI, but later episodes were slightly marred with the animation being rough and stiff, whereas the CGI went completely downhill, at least until this final episode, where the production values was good again.

I think a 7/10 would be my final score, as long as I don't have second thoughts so soon. Either way, I would welcome a second season and a continuation of this series. =)

Great final episode! Lugh 1 hits that Berserk skill user! He is extremely OP!
Dia will now live with Lugh's family and will hide her identity.
We see who the hero really is at the end...

I really enjoyed this show! Tsukiyo Rui did a great job and I'll be hoping for a second season!

Very good final episode, I was wondering what kind of battle would occur based on the title, and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest. I really love the way he decided to deal with Setanta, just stalls for time while his space strike/non-nuclear missile falls on top of him, ends fight immediately lol, I absolutely love that, it’s right in line with this show. Gotta appreciate the kiss with Dia at the end too, he won and got the girl, good way to end it. And of course as it turns out that guy wasn’t the hero and there’s a different guy that showed up at the end of the episode, makes me wonder if we’ll get a season 2 or not, I like the ending for now tho.

While this wasn’t a favorite of mine this season, I found myself really enjoying it all the way through, it’s definitely a step up from Redo of a Healer when it comes to the writing, this had a lot of clever moments like we saw in this episode and it got me invested in the overarching plot involving the goddess and the hero, and the waifus were very good too. Would definitely like to see a Season 2 of this at some point.

While I don't really agree with the previous comments saying that the finale was rushed because of the pressence and assassination of the Hero since the berserker very clearly wasn't, I do feel that it was alright in the sense that it didn't leave as much of an impact as some of the episodes from the first half. In fact, it turned out to be more romantic than other series from the genre, somehow. Nevertheless, the battle managed to be a throwback to previous episodes by answering some pending questions that might've been left hanging, such as what was up with that island that Lugh had been in seamless holidays.

Not all of them of course, the real Hero just appeared in time for a plausible season 2, if that ever gets the green light that is. Meanwhile, I gotta say that this surpassed my very low expectations coming from "you-know-where" *nudge nudge*. The opening sequence is clean and sharp in its tune, the animation was overall good except for those CGI horses, and the main cast had at least their respective development, though in various instances they didn't.

Oh, and the goddess's moments were all over the place, but I liked them for what they were worth.

A bit of an underwhelming ending, but honestly the Assassination way isn't the most spectacular way... Even though that was a massive bang to go out on.

Well, he failed to assassinate Dia... but he could have almost killed her with that kiss XD So we get a very quick glimpse of the Hero at the end and the way they ended it so quick afterwards makes me believe we don't have to wait too long for a S2, hopefully.

Either way, show was good. OP was an absolute banger. Only big complaint is too much CGI that did not look good in the slightest. The uncensored episodes were a nice bonus though. Maha best girl! 7/10

I enjoy the show, maybe look forward s2 i hope the actual story start

I was fully expecting there to be an end-credit scene where that guy climbs out of the crater from that nuke.

I'm starting to think whether the goddess instigated the MC's death in his previous life with the sudden betrayal.

Overall enjoyed this series. It was one of only 2 anime this season that I kept up with weekly. Might give the light novel a go if I feel like it.

We finally get to see Lugh use his most powerful weapon and it did not disappoint! He knows he doesn’t stand a chance against Setanta so he uses his trump card that he was saving for the real Hero. Also, the kiss between Lugh and Dia was nice and it looks like she’ll be his little sister from now on. I really liked the surprise at the end with the real Hero. I didn’t think he’d show up until season 2, which I seriously hope they give us.

The season as a whole was really well done. The only problem I had was the messy CGI. It only showed up a few times so it didn’t bother me too much. The overall story was interesting and engaging. All the characters are pretty likable in their own ways. I’m looking forward to a potential second season.

And just like that, what could've easily been the best fight in the show has gone straight out the window. Seriously, there's a million ways they could've made that fight amazing. Maybe the guy survived the nuke. Maybe he realized what the mc was doing. Maybe he could move faster than the nuke drop. Maybe the aim was off. Maybe the mc messed up the spell. Anything that would force the mc to think on the fly and adapt to his failure for once. But nope, all according to keikaku.

This show knows how to turn every interesting plot point into a way to jerk off the mc's awesomeness. In a way, it's pretty impressive.

That was undoubtedly a rushed finale, but hmm... it's rare I actually didn't get bored on an action scene. After all it lasted about 0.2 seconds.

It really is a pity that this finale wasn't really built up and came out of nowhere. This dude feels more like a plot device than a character (which pretty ironically describes Talt and Maha pretty well too). Hope Dia doesn't just get the "She's added to the harem" status and lose any of her own compulsion.

Main character pretty much does carry, which is pretty unusual for a show like this, 5/10.

this really only had a okay first episode and maybe a second one everything else went very much downhill in trash iskekai fashion ,this wasn't the worse i've watched but it was pretty cringe most of the time which added to my own personal entertainment at least , did have a banger of a opening.

now for this super rushed finale... i had actually had a moment of enjoyment when the totally not a spear Gae Blog appeared as though it was some kinda of panzer laser rocket the fake out hero appearing was the first time someone with some form of power appeared so i figured it'd make for a interesting fight but once the duel started MC-kun had it all planned out because that's what assassins do drop orbital nukes on their foes that can be perfectly timed to a coin flip...sigh know it's the last episode but i just had to turn it off there for a second and just skip around the last bit till i realized it was the last episode sheesh

5/10mediocre in it's finest form

Where's my second season announcement? Definitely enjoyed the show a lot, it's one of my top shows this season. It's not revolutionary or anything, but it does its thing pretty well.

I honestly think Setanta survived that nuke, like damn. It's pretty cool how Lugh won that "duel" though, assassin be assassinating. Still really curious about the Goddess's true goals, that smile was sus in the episode. At least, it was a happy ending for Lugh and Dia.

Hope we get a season 2, I wanna see them meet the hero. 8/10

Lmao that big brain move was really overwhelming. Doing all those preparations beforehand to obliterate Setanta, that indeed could be done by the world's greatest assassin. Tho that made the assassination failed 'coz it merely a wipe out. It seems that the ultimate finisher was done to the mistaken hero, can't help but to laugh at it.

As someone who wasn't able to read its source mat'l, could say that they were able to deliver and execute it just fine. From the hype it received, could say that it lived up to its expectations. Indeed a success. Would be better if it gets a sequel.

Honestly. Watching Episode 12 was a blast. In around the end where the artillery shot didn't work, I had some thoughts on how he would top it. But something like he did wasn't one.

The weapon he mentioned was a proposed weapon during the Cold War by the US. An Initiative to put weapons in space. "Project Thor" Was the name. The idea was simple. Just like the anime said, it's a kinetic energy weapon that uses the kinetic force of entering the atmosphere to making a huge amount of force that could decimate anything it hits. But of course in real life it isn't a thing. Theoretically, we could make it. But the UN's international law forbids weapons to be put in space.

As for how the anime puts this weapon into action, it's quite accurate. And when the weapon actually hits the ground and explodes, I was thoroughly impressed. The hype the last episode got is worth it. I hope they'll make a season 2. Although I know there's a high likelihood that they will. That is if you consider the popularity the anime has. Plus the fact that they still have more source material.

What a lackluster rushed finale. I wasn't expecting Lugh to nuke that guy from orbit, but I guess he had no choice since that guy was so strong. It also begs to question, if Lugh had such a power why stop at killing a hero when he can take out an entire Kingdom. As for the series itself, for people that claim that this was the author's best work it was really not that special.

I give it a 5/10 because its not as bad as the Fruit of Evolution Isekai, but not as good as Mushoku Tensei or Re: Zero to stand out from the rest of the pack.

Kadokawa needs to give this show a bigger budget if they are planning on doing another season because the CGI didn't look good at all.
