THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Another week, another key topic metaphorically tackled in Pingu. This week, Pingu & his younger sister take on preparations to leave in a spaceship. It was all fun and games on the surface of the episode.

But if we take a deeper dive, its plain as day that this is indicating the future for potential long-term sustainable life is going to have to be off-planet. At the rate climate change is affecting the world - especially the ice caps (where Pingu & co. live) - there is no longer going to be any hope for Penguins to live there. This is about more than just Penguins and the ice caps, its the threat of uninhabitable conditions forcing humans (and most biological life in general) to seek refuge somewhere else in the universe, as we can no longer guarantee a safeguard of future sanctuary here on planet Earth due to rapid shifts in the climate and ecosystems. A somber concept indeed.

Idk how you do it Pingu, you're so uber-meta every week. Wild.

Man, I thought Pingu was one twisted brat, it seems he got that from his grandfather or whatever that geezer is to him. That's one old troll, and he looked proud while doing it, showing off for the new youngsters how they did it back in the day must have felt great, and then, they over smarted him at the end, must really suck.

Pingu and his sister get a "space experience," by being put in a fake rocket that they appear to believe is real.

The old man did a good job in creating the experience for them.
