The True Army can't wait any longer for destruction to happen, and Commander Akatsuki needs to lead that charge.

So the True Army and Arahabaki ACTUALLY can co-exist, just that Commander Akatsuki got the humiliation of his life being thwarted by Arahabaki, and that marathon event being a childish harassment of an embarrassment, I guess it kinda worked out in favour for Arahabaki to advertise their Akibahara Comiket-like event.

While Hosomichi's past we'll know very soon, the Akiba Fest in Arahabaki takes precedence when the dungeon reaped up many items lost in time, and that Akatsuki and Hayate goes undercover to find out the true intentions of Arahabaki. Hayate walked off on her own, encountering Rin in the process and enjoying everything else that Akihabara has to offer (except the ecchi stuff), while Akatsuki walks to the ramen food truck with Hosomichi in it.

The talk of higher-ups between the old geezer who manages the ramen truck, Hosomichi and Akatsuki, even with the Akiba Apocalypse event that happened and separated families. That pretty much confirmed and the timeline synchronized with Balzac's Garann going out of control, and the talk was actually going so well to find some common ground. If only Munakata in his drunken state didn't interfere and blurt his true intentions out.

The True Army's invasion of Arahabaki is only a matter of time, and they're facing the worst crisis ever.

Another great episode.

Loved the original OP. That alone made the episode.

The scene at the ramen shop was very well done. Makes you reflect on your lifestyle. The cliffhanger ending was good too.

Would have been hilarious if the true army got converted into weebs but seems like it's going into a different direction with a big final face-off.

Akatsuki is reprimanded by his superiors in the "True Army" for not producing results.

Coming to the conclusion to use non-violent means to pacify the resistance, he organizes and runs in a 24 hour marathon. Only yo be beaten by a masked Rin with Arahabaki members harassing him during the race.

The sneaky resistance hijack the broadcast to advertise their convention in former Akihabara (now that they salvaged the Otaku treasures that were underground).

Let Hosomichi build his Gunpla! So he's listened to Balzac's words to not let the girls fall in love with him by keeping his distance and sleeping separately...

Akatsuki and his overly loyal ninja Hayate infiltrate Arahabaki's convention (just as their priestess Yakumo did two episodes ago). Akatsuki has to disguise his military uniform, but Hayate blends right in with her ninja clothes, being mistaken for a cosplayer by Rin. They get separated as Akatsuki does his hammy speech. with Hayate being shown around Akihabara by Rin. She introducers her to the plentiful things she enjoys (unaware that they were opponents in their Garanns)

Akatsuki orders from a ramen stand where Hosomichi is also eating at. He discusses Arahabaki's beliefs and methods with Hosomichi and the Ramen stand owner, and also reveal they have similar relationships with their bosses. The incident that wiped out a settlement, creating a lake is revealed by Akatsuki to be the fault of Arahabaki's Garann, Hosomichi concludes it is the same incident Balzac told him about; the loss of the ramen stand owner's previous stand, Rin's family and countless other families being separated, were the result of that.

Then, a drunk Munakata paints an even worse image of Arahabaki to the public and Akatsuki, prompting him to reveal his identity to Hosomichi.

The red haired commander has to be the great villain, right? I just can't see the Akatsuki and the ladies being the final bosses.

I forget there's a jerky higher-ups too on this anime. They looks so pissed. Everything just too fun and light-hearted before, until i can't realized there's a serious matter lurking around it. Aw, look at how Akatsuki wanted to set a peace so hard between the two Japan, with a long marathon project. Idk how its matters, but, okay, i guess. Too bad Arahabaki had more genius plan to even hijack Akatsuki's agenda that hard. Poor dude, once again get yelled xd. Still, there's like a hidden plan arranged by one person behind.

I like Yuki's spirit there, not even fear the fact that her face get revealed from the previous hijack. Hosomichi mysterious identity keep hanging more and more deep, looks like. I even wonder if he's actually not from the 'current' Japan.

Akiba fest. Another fun trip. Hayate almost trapped inside the rabbit hole, lmao. Glad that Rin butted in before its too late. Hayate and Rin had a good times there, pretty wholesome part of them, despite the fact that they both were the enemies before. The same with Akatsuki and Hosomichi that unexpectedly met up under the same ramen shop. While Misa and masked team caught the fish with the suicidal bomb, lmao, next level.

The time has come to battle. That annoying shark loan once again became more aggresive. I knew you drink a freakin desperate alcohol, not to mention you also had a beef with whoever you called. But holy shit, Akatsuki must have beat him more. Now what shall you do, Hosomichi-kun?

I aggree with one comment, and one image above: DAT ASS

Was nice seeing the two Japans sort of bonding without knowing each others identity before that useless dumbass Munakata ruined it.

That drunk idiot should have been slapped. Way to broadcast sensitive info to everyone in sight dumbass.

It was nice to see the two sides try to understand each other as people, but it looks like their ideals might be too strong.
