Spice and Wolf (light novel)
| Honestly some of these light novels would be better as visual novels, there are some where they are better as books like Monogatari and Boogiepop, but a Classroom of the Elite and Spice and Wolf visual novel would be awesome. |

| Visual novels honestly dont really give the same experience as reading a book in my opinion.. Read some and was barely able to finish one(The house in fata morgana) considering how well it was praised... I dont know but VN medium might seem like a "better version" of a book but it kills the imagination and the joy of continuous reading by clicks... A picture says a thousand words while words tell things which a picture cant portray. And for this reason manga and novels both are best mediums of entertainment in my opinion...since both of them portray so many things... However Visual novels(ignoring the fact that every one of them involves incest on way or another and almost all of them are done in a heteronormative way) try to combine both pictures and words and for some reason it doesnt work out... I have been reading spice and wolf and frankly its great this way.. wouldnt prefer a Vn in a million years... |
