| Thinking about the story, what do you guys think is still going to happens until the end? 1 - Akari-san's spring, with one of the ships (Hayashida or Shimada) finally sailing? 2 - Kiriyama Meijin? 3 - Rei and Hina marriage? 4 - Momo (3gatsu's version of Maggie Simpson) actually aging? 5 - Nikaido's death? 6 - Kawamoto Grandpa death? 7 - Opening of the Kawamoto's Groceries Cafe & Shoji' Garden? I'm pretty sure that the 7th is going to be the very happy end last scene of this manga, and before that: Yes, one death for dramatic impact. Akari is going to end with Rei's teacher, exactly because it would be unexpected. And the peak "Shogi moment" for Rei will be victory over Toji Soya, but the manga obviously is not going to show the deaf master losing his title. All this can be depicted in more 40 chapters or 3~4 years. Since this is a monthly manga with number of pages-per-chapter of weekly one, i think it is not exhausting the mangaka, then i believe she still wants more 10 years of 3gatsu at least, so there is room for even more stuff. I dont believe we are going to see any relevant timeskip until the end tho. Not sure if the marriage will be confirmed, because the only way would be Hinata marry Kiriyama right after her third-year graduation. What means no college to her (well, this manga is basically supporting the message: you don't need a college degree to make a decent living). And the opening of that shop could be at the same time of the marriage. Btw, the grampa must be alive for this moment, so, bad news for Nikaido? I dont know, maybe actually the shoking death would be from someone from Rei's foster family (his father or his bitch-sister) |

| Now that another year is gone, what i wish to happens next in the story... is the manga still coming to have a story! It seems like Umino is taking a break before come back with an actual arc of the story. Meanwhile would be so nice if Anime industry, if Shaft, remembered again of this manga. |
