Season 1 has some serious pacing issues but it was still amazing and season 2 was a masterpiece. The side characters were progressing and developing throughout the series and they were frequently in the episodes. But in season 3 the side characters, so far, are almost nowhere to be found. At this point (Ep.12), they only appear to remind us they exist. And even if they have a lot of screen time, they are just there (Miyoshi) and don't do anything. And in this season every character is not acting like themselves, even the main characters. (Peace and Rabuta Arc) The story is also starting to drag too much by taking the Death Note turn - introducing a new antagonist in the last third of the series. This is illogical, considering there was never an antagonist in Bakuman, only rivals. The first 3 episodes were good but the rest so far feels like a filler.
So to get to the point - Why is season 3 of Bakuman considered the best?

Dunno. I enjoyed the whole three seasons equally. I don't see any problem.

I liked the ending a lot. Every work that the authors of Death Note make, most likely has a bad ending but fortunately Bakuman doesn't.

Season 2 was worst season, i literally disliked every character (even the ones i though i wouldn't dislike). Season 3 was much better because it tries to make up for all the cringe season 2 made me feel. Toru Nanamine arc is way better than anything season 2 could offer. Plus it ended great. Also I remembered one of the most impactful episode of entire bakuman for me, the copy robbery one was in season 3

I am glad they are not acting like there season 2 counterparts.

Season 1 was pretty boring because it lacked the side characters. Season 2 was worse because of the hospital arc, and the gag manga they worked on wasn't all that interesting to watch, especially with that annoying ass editor. Season 3 made up for a lot of this. Side characters were better imo, pacing issues were gone, and the ending was great with most loose ends tied up really well.
The antagonist in the first half was bad, but not enough to ruin the season
