Honestly felt bad for Teruto this episode cause ever since he list, he doesn't feel the same.

Definitely feels like he's one of those characters that takes the game far more seriously than others. Likewise, at least we know that there are decent players in their world including the main cast.

To meet Kikka the King and simultaneously his younger sister, Teruto really suffered from the loss. Kinda can understand his predicament since he always takes the game seriously. amd that both Sakura and Hiyori can only do what they know best: encourage Teruto out of his rut...and rest while eating cake.

For Ishinome, doing fishing with Teruto to reignite his trauma about losing to his sister, and Sakura has the same premonition of fear, understanding, and the seemingly amnesiac feeling of memories lost, while losing to Kikka is the only thing on his mind that's repetitive.

Ishinome has laid the hook, will Teruto bite and bounce back? Of course he will.

That mock battle with the Teruto Dummy...Kikka, uh, really has some yandere issues, huh? 🤣

Regarding Teruto's memory loss, I wonder if his nee-chan may be responsible for this. What is quite evident, thus far, is that Teruto experienced some form of trauma in the past and said trauma most certainly involves Kikka.

Sakura is still just as sus and self-serving as per usual. I don't trust her. Rather than a human being, Teruto is clearly just a tool to her - a means to reach her goal.

Bit of a dud episode for me. At least we got more Hiyori being cute.

Sakura throwing away the dinner a homeless kid spent all day trying to catch? Looks like Teruto has a bigger villain to take care of before dealing with this whole King situation.

Teruto is having a desire to defeat the king, a cool goal for him.

I love this show. But by god can i not stand sakura. She honestly is just a straight up bitch and a horrible person. Instead of helping him she only has her own self interest at heart. Like bro how about you help him and be a decent human being for once. She is the only down side to this show.

This show has so much potentially in exploring what happened in the past. And those 2 guys definitely have something to do with it. And how does sukura know kikka. So much to explore can't handle the wait

Indeed honestly he does. She is my most hated character right now if she disappeared for like the rest of the series my enjoy would very much improve

Agreed about Sakura. It seems to be such a cursed name. I love the name itself, but it always seems to be attached to the worst characters >.>

I feel sorry for Teruto the most in this show. He seems to be a pawn for a bigger scheme and is being manipulated left and right. I'm pretty sure Ishinome used some magic or "genjutsu" to borrow a Naruto term to get him to re-focus and fight the king which is why he just kind of snapped back instead of naturally reach that conclusion. Clearly the goal is to get Teruto to fight Kikka the proper way (by earning all the chips) so that something can take place according to Higuma. But Kikka kind of broke protocol by finding out Teruto "returned" to Neo-Kyoto and going to fight him which ruined his motivation. I'm also curious if he was down because he has PTSD from how often she beat him or because she's his sister that he has reservations about taking her down as the "king." Sakura continues to be suspicious and I'm pretty confident she is not "human" and she seems to have some connection to Kikka as well we don't know of yet. She also did bring up the whole "Teruto is weird because he was surprised there was nothing outside of Neo-Kyoto" which I hope will be expanded upon in the near future since I'm still interested in that particular aspect of the world. Overall, it was a rather slow and kind of comfy episode but offered some interesting ideas while continuing to keep this shroud of mystery and vagueness to the entire story. You really don't know what's going on and the writers seem dedicated to giving you that sense of unsureness which I kind of like.

This episode was not good and completely skippable. Didn't happen anything that would have consequences/continuation and zero exposition. And first episode without duel. Which is only saving grace for this anime. And Teruto didn't even eat bread for the first time.

Not surprising that Teruto is lost and doesn't know what to think anymore, but he's being manipulated by both Ishinome (Urahara rip-off) and Sakura (who's an absolute bitch luring people to attack him and throwing his dinner for no reason)... At least I don't mind Hiyori, she's just a clueless airhead girl but she's not bad on the inside.

This episode was fine, a lot of mysteries are there in the series. Looking forward to teruto's next battle. And this episode was all about him recovering from his loss against his sister.

I give this episode 6/10.

Wow, can't believe Sakura just threw the fish back in, rip Teruto's dinner...

Even more is the fact she didn't help at all by sending in those challengers compared to Ishinome.
