Episode 1 was new like it shows how the flame hashira came to that train and what he faced between that time but episode 2 was same as movie and not sure the rest of the episodes will be same as episode 2.

Episode 1 is completely new anime-original content. Episode 2-7 are just the mugen train movie but with new music and 70+ new cuts. If you like demon slayer it’s definitely worth the watch.

Yeah ep 1 showed how rengoku reached mugen train and later ep will have a lil extra scenes nothing important

The movie completely adapts the manga. All new added scenes are original anime only fillers, and you can easily tell that btw, the first episode for example have a completely different vibe from the rest of the series. Mostly because the arc is too short for the anime series and they cant really make the anime completely identical to the movie.

But the epilogue of this arc was'nt adapted in the movie so you can expect that. And they might adapt the official side story of rengoku

I'm starting to think that it's just going to be the movie in episode form. I really enjoyed the first episode and I wish the entire series would've been like that.

yes there is something new. Especially the fight .First 2 episodes give idea about why the get to mugen train.Last 3 or 4 episodes will be the starting of next season. Other episodes are like the movie.
