| This doesn't look good, really thought Goro would get a lucky fork here and turn the game around, but nope. And it seems now their is some conflict between Goro and Toshi . . . That'll need to be resolved quickly or else this could turn into a crushing defeat. |

| Gorou's being an asshole there. Because of failing to pitch a forkball he got angry and now he's taking it out on Toshi. I hope Gorou comes to his senses in the next episode, this just pisses me off. :( |
| Talk about a bad start... It's worse than a bad start, it look like an impossible-to-come-back start. I was sure the young team would win the game, since I'm totally sure that Goro and Toshiya will be at the World Cup, but I'm not so sure anymore. That make me think : does that mean that they will complete the winning team with the ones who performed the best during this game? Goro forkball is way too bad to use it now. | The MAL message boards are back! I only watched anime here and there during the last three months because of this. It was a fun routine to complete an episode and then hit up the boards and see what others think.. anyway, it is back! Easily the best episode so far in the season. I know Major has a formula, but it was getting on my nerves seeing it again.. but this episode redeemed itself. Not sure what Goro was thinking getting pissy with Toshi, but I'm sure his rational will be explained next episode. Also, anybody surprised that "Weird Smile Teeth" made the friggin Japanese Young Team?!? I know we only saw one episode of his pitching back last season (or a couple seasons ago.. it all blends in), but the dude was terrible. That's the best they have? Anyway, 10/10. |
| i knew it won't be simple for them to win but to lose so much runs? i believe they will lose and goro will advanced to the national team. hope though goro ditched the forkball in the game he still work on this pitch, it will be deadly once mastered. wonder what is it about toshi don't trust goro's pitches in the end... |
| I don't have much hope for the young rookies to beat the professionals. Too bad Goro's forkballs didn't work which is expected and not in Kyoshiro's words disappointing at all since he has only been training it for past 2 weeks. Hopefully the conflict between Goro and Toshi gets resolved soon and we get to see their golden battery once again. |
