I want to ask manga reader's that is enough source material for anime adaptation for season 2 i mean its such masterpiece but still no sequel

I’m on chapter 67 of the manga and lemme tell you that’s there’s stuff they didn’t even cover in the chapters they used for season 1 there is plenty of source im really sad to see they’re aren’t doing anything with it.

Maybe the anime was made just to make the manga popular and increase the manga sales.
In other words the anime was just advertisement for the manga.

An adaptation covers around 25 chapters and we are 72 chapters in right now, there is materiel for season 3 or a 24 ep adaptation.

The anime is actually one of the most faithful manga adaptations I've seen, easily covering 95% of the material of the 20-odd chapters it covers. If we assume that each episode covers roughly 2 chapters, there's easily enough for 2 more 12 ep seasons right now. I truly am surprised that we haven't gotten more anime. Hopefully the delay is only due to COVID. I see it's a new trend to either A. Release 2 seasons quickly after each other or B. Release 1 season in 2 12 episode halves (Mushoku Tensei, 86, SNK etc). I hope this could happen with Grand Blue to make the anime catch up a bit. The second Okinawa trip (IYKYK) then that could be a great cliffhanger ending for part 2 of season 2 or season 3.

There's more than enough material for a second season and there will probably be another installment somewhere in the future since this is one the hottest comedy manga right now.

Sadly, the anime, being the adaptation, is only the launching platform for the manga. Regardless of how well it takes off.

Not gonna lie I've been waiting for season 2 maybe since about a year and so, hope it'll get adapted soon because the source materials are enough to adapt a sequel of this beauty comedy :3 My assumption is that it'll be announced in 2022 / 2023 hopefully :0

To be fair one chapter = 34 or more or less pages which is why it's hella long but somewhat it's a worth of a waiting and at the same time, it's painful oof so I feel you.
