It depends on you, I liked the comedy but the characters were meh for me an the MC was completely bland. Unnecessary OP. So I dropped it.

Btw I'm not saying you to drop it, keep watching you might like it

IDK, if you didn't like season 1 or the characters I'm not sure this is going to hit for you. It starts off slow/bad and you get more characters, but if you at least liked Rimuru maybe you'll end up enjoying it.

There's no need for all this tension.

In Season 2, things get more serious than S1. But the rythm didn't change, MUCH...

I watch both seasons softly because i like the slime boy but you don't have to force yourself to continue, after all i don't know what you exactly expect in a work, what would be a non-boring work for you?

I personally liked season 2 more than one by far. Better character development for some of our characters and I find the plot better. Season 1s second half was definitely underwhelming imo and I can see it being a turn off but it gets way better. Just be prepared for discussion on politics and other things as that turns some people off from season 2.

I agree that the first couple of episodes were boring but if you are interested then continue with it. It gets interesting later on and for the characters, I never quite liked any of them so they are same to me

They are pretty similar, not much changes in terms of story. If you didn't like S1, then you are probably not going to like S2 that much either. Specifically, if you didn't like Rimuru, then it's hard to enjoy the show. I liked him and that's why I enjoyed it.

Yo no offense but if you didn’t like a shows first season then asking if you should watch the second is pretty stupid. What's will change if you aren’t attached to the characters. ITS self explanatory as this is a character driven show and these questions are just really annoying as there are 20 threads and videos summarizing the show and what it’s about.
EVERY FAN in this community will tell you to continue, myself included, but the show doesn’t change genres after 25 episodes. Mmmmm

I almost dropped s1 too because was so slow but with s2 doesn't change anything. Btw s2 wasn't bad in some episodes and really boring in others

im pretty neutral on the show like u but finished the show so ill give my honest opinion. I think it was enjoyable at times like the around the middle of s2 p1 was actually pretty cool then something major happened then everything got predictable after one scene which made alot of things lackluster and boring. And s2 p2 if u dont care about the politics will be really boring building up to fights that for the most part disappointed entirely. So honestly imo id say to drop it because youd most likely just find it boring and predictable aswell with bad payoff. Tbh if i wasnt caught up since the season started i most likely wouldve just dropped it

I think you just didn't get the appeal of the story and since you didn't, of course you wouldn't like it. I'd probably suggest some other titles before watching this since this is a bit advanced than the ones animated before.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

If I were you, I wouldn't watch it. Season two is boring as hell. First of all, the episodes are veeeeery prolonged, they often repeat some scenes and the information itself adds practically nothing, for example, there is a secondary episode they talk nonstop, and useful information can be summarized in two minutes. Added to this is a totally unnecessary fanservice and predictable one-sided fights. Nothing interesting

Oh, and there is no music in this anime. I haven't heard such a bland soundtrack for a long time. They can spam most fights with one melody

Don't look at the score and think it's good.

5/12 episodes is literally about just selling beer which was boring. Side characters were awful. There was a horrible romance and the dude went full simp mode and defends his lover even though she basically was the main cause of their problems.

This show has 0 consequences so whatever happens there's gonna be a bs way of fixing it very soon. I enjoyed season 1 but this season it went downhill and got hard baited by how high the score was.

In Season 1, I was not attached to any of the characters. I thought that the main character was too op for my liking and the way everyone decides to serve him was dull, but I'm glad I continued watching.

Season 2 (especially part 1) had a lot of good moments I can't stop re-watching, great animation and fights, and it introduced characters I am now seriously attached to. However, it starts out slowly, has way more dialogue and political conversations, and a lot more characters.

To be honest Tensura isn't the best isekai of all time. The premise of the MC being a slime catches your attention but at the end of the day the world is somewhat bland and side characters are not that well fleshed out.
If you are still itching to see a good isekai I would reccommend Tsuki Ga Michibiku Iskai Douchuu.

The anime is good, after that I would read the manga, and then at the latest chapter hop onto the web novel. I'm reading the web novel now and it's really enjoyable, the side characters are all fun and the MC is interesting also. It's got about 400 chapters currently, and the 12 episode anime covers around 40-50ish.

Hmm? I thought that CG was something that could throw people off... But I guess we all have different tastes. I like watching a lot of Action genres, therefore animation is one of the top main things that could keep me watching. As for fights, I'm saying that they were better than in Season 1. Both animation and fights are not top tiers but they are up there.

I specifically said Raphael/Great Sage CG, which doesn't involve animating humanoid character. The middle finger's army CG on the other hand, looks pretty bad.
