| This series has weird ways of dealing with feelings. Weirdest "I love you" I've ever seen. That said, it was still a great chapter. Hideo is a lucky man... a weird one, but lucky nonetheless. |

| They have a strange relationship. I wonder if she really loves him. My guess at this point is that she has HIV or a similar disease that makes it impossible for her to contemplate intercourse. It would also explain the constant treatment. Just my guess at this point though. |

| It really seems more and more that the author is pointing towards the man being a doctor... especially this last visit. It seemed fairly short, and he brought his briefcase, which screams 'examining instruments'. Of course, the other option is that he's a sugar daddy, and that's how she finances her life. But there's a few other possibilities, like that story drawn with her as an abandoned child and him finding her. But if he is a sugar daddy, paying for sex, it still makes sense she could fall in love with Hideo... I'm leaning more and more towards doctor though. I doubt she has AIDS, because she let him lick her neck/chest after a nose bleed... along with a few other incidents. And they've definitely exposed each other to plenty of other bodily fluids, so it's likely not contagious... Not wanting sex may have nothing to do with her illness. Hideo was in his own world, when he peeked inside briefly, he just saw her putting on her shirt... but she didn't look sweaty or like she'd done anything. He decided to pop his blister instead of wondering what that meant... which is a pretty difficult thing to do I'd guess. |
