I am on episode 8 and I'm kinda confused on what all the hype is for? The characters are boring and the story is all mumble jumble
But it is somewhat enjoyable

Edit: I am gonna carry on watching just for the relationship between Zero and Hiro lol

Hype is for zero two. Anime overall is more enjoyable later but story doesnt get any better. Still i suggest to finish it

If you think the show is bad now just wait until you get to the last 6 episodes. Just drop it imo, it'll save you time for much better animes

Yes yes and yes, until episode 16, then watch at your own risk. I personally loved the series as a whole, but it's true that the last two arcs are a bit dissapointing. The final scene makes everything worth it though

Of you're not into it by eight episodes drop it cause it gets worse and you're not close to finishing. This kind of goes for all animes though.

Zero Two is the best and the show is great up until episode 18 so it’s up to you if you are ok with a bad ending, and if after 6 episodes you aren’t on the Zero Two hype train then first of all your insane but second of all she’s the best part of the show so maybe you should drop it.

If it's one of your first anime or ur new to anime then I suggest you to watch it... if not, then it depends on your mentality... There are many haters out there for the series, but fr me it's one of the best anime I've ever seen cuz when I watched it, it was my first anime and it completely blew my mind.

Zero Two is the main reason for the hype. Overall after I finished the anime the first thing that came to my mind was "wasted potential". They completely rushed the ending and ruined it. It was fine till episode 18-19

Hm, Imo It's one of my Fav and Best Modern Mecha Anime... Honestly, Not that much but still we most of the ppl who cares about this and type replies to you have watched it as our 1st or 2nd anime so we have a connection to it.. If you're not like that and you neither didn't like the characters or ZeroTwo, This Anime is not for you. Although it's ending is one of the most Depressing and Happy for me, you maynot like it

I can rant for about 20 mins about how good the anime was and how bad the ending was at the same time.. I wish to hit the person who wrote the ending with a big sponge hammer from a 3 story building.

Personally this is one of my all time favorite animes. I love and grew a connection to all the characters and the storyline is beautiful. I really wish there would be another season, but I don’t think there will be, I would recommend it :)

I didn’t really like it. Zero two carries the entire show/plot and it makes the other characters unoriginal and boring. I also thought the ending sucked and was lame and confusing. Fight me.

It’s a love story dressed up as a mecha anime. The action and mecha serve as nothing more than character development points.

If you focus entirely on Hiro and Zero Two and the other love stories, you’ll notice the rest of the plot is sacrificed entirely for their sake.

Loved it to bits when all was said and done.

The anime started out okayish. It later gets better and episodes around 12-17 are amazing. However, the later episodes were absolute trash and weren't even needed tbh. It's the ZeroHiro relationship which is the star of the show. Zero Two is one of the best waifus out there lol. But the other characters(except Zero Two and Hiro) don't really see much development and seem more like props to me. To sum it up, it's an amazing concept gone wrong due to bad directing. It's worth the watch if you want to see ZeroHiro, but if you're looking for development arcs of other characters, and good plot, then this anime might disappoint you.

I called this show " 02 the anime" cuz other than 02 there is nothing in this show worth watching,and if you wanted a good mecha show,watch gurren lagann for the bright tone,evangelion if wanted darker tone or code geass for a good story

The hype was for Zero Two because is waifu material but unfortunately is a good character in a mediocre show. It is a decent show (6/10) till ep 15.. Everything after ep 15 is horrible

It is just shity, it was trying to be a evangelion-esk series, touching deep themes like puberty, growth sexual atracción and it failed masively. It has some good scenes but over all it's not worth it. Trigger fucked up there.
