| I don't really remember if he uses any honorifics with other characters, is that the case that he does not and that causes your confusion? |

| pretty much, he only uses the -chan honorific with tsukihi and karen, who are very close. He only uses -san for gaen and kagenui. So he's somehow comfortable enough to address ougi as -chan. He doesn't call anyone else with any honorifics |
| Well you can assume Ougi is a different case from other characters, I won't get into details because knowing what makes her different is important. Also, I guess it's kinda obvious at first glance that Ougi is different. Sorry for not explaining but it's important that you watch it first. |

| yeah true, that could apply, since he calls ononoki "-chan" however he doesn't uses any honorifics for Kanbaru Araragi has only used "-chan" for little kids, and Ougi wouldn't really classify as one, as she's only a year or 2 younger than him. |
| I mean he feels a connection to her like pretty much no other character for reasons I won't say because of spoilers.It a diffrent relationship compared to pretty much ever other character. |
