Fuck Mosko for putting Migael in a headlock. But I like his businessman fighting style lmao.

Merrio's fighting style with fungus and stuff is also really cool. I like how that one guard is just chilling lmao, he definitely has an important role as well, since his design is too detailed to just be a background character. Let's go, it's time for the counterattack.

7-10 were pretty boring but 11 was pretty good. Hopefully we can see this exam end soon and get onto the good part of the manga again: The actual hunting.

Found this pretty dull, though I guess it was good to get insight into Merrio's unique fighting style. I do think it possesses some problems, this is fine for an introduction but hoping his battles don't come down to some new mold he has with some wacky application we weren't previously introduced to until he used it to win. Hopefully we'll see some of the ones introduced here used in the finish of this arc, maybe the ironeater one could dissolve the handcuffs?

Meeting another character, Mosko Cobbs. This guy's a kind of business tycoon that wants to take over the guild and profit off of it, huh? Interesting lore drop here about the guild keeping the creation of Wolfonium a secret. Makes it a bit more plausible why it seems so rare in a world otherwise inhabited by constant werewolf danger, as well as the weird name. Of course it'd be called that when its produced by some unknown means (i.e., not found naturally) and made with that express purpose.

Anyway, Mosko seems like an interesting character (though likely not too complex or anything) and are his "Workman's Arts" like moves? Seems like 'Self Communication' is a bit out there, but 'Flexible Approach' for dodging stuff and 'Downsizing' for knocking someone out sounds cool. There's probably other ones too we haven't yet seen.

Migael is certainly a neat character too. Before they talked about "God's grace" or whatnot, and said the barrier stuff was God's blessing. I'm guessing that's maybe a delusion or something and it's actually a hex like Debonair said. We see maybe a hint of how the power works though, since they didn't use the same big tower shield, and Mosko seemed to think it was because they weren't able to.

We finally see what exactly Merrio's abilities are, and they're... mold slimes? I was pretty confused at first, but it makes a lot of sense with what we've seen him doing so far. It's a cool power, and definitely has potential for more uses depending on how many types he ultimately has in there. On the subject of Merrio it's interesting to see him trusting Mosko and his crew right after they fought, maybe telling for the kind of person he is.

Looks like the action will ramp up next time though, when everyone goes on the offensive.

Excited for this one. I'm glad we're taking a bit of time to flesh out some of the characters after we met so many so quickly, and hopefully they'll stick around to form a central cast we know. If we meet too many more characters I'm scared I'll start losing track of who everyone is D:

Mosko is a funny ass character and that was a good ass chapter. I really liked the way Merrio handled things but wtf happened at the end there? Did the guard just disappear?
