| Different from the other fights and I liked it. It was nice to see how Yamada has made it so far and how much it meant for him to met Ippo in the ring. Emotional throughout, especially the ending. |

| Geromichi ended up giving Ippo a fight he'd never forget despite its short duration and it looks like he also got what he wanted and more out of it! It's great that he'll continue fighting on but I hope that he'll try to at least grow his eyebrows back first while he's at it. |

| no, the all "like the rival" thing didn't worked for me, the author destroyed totally geri michi and i hope we won't see him again. though ippo kind matured, he still doesn't there. well, at least we get to see comedy next episode xD |
| geromichi got destroyed as expected, never liked him so i would've preferred more ruthlessness but ig thats just not who ippo is, and thats alright. |

| Why did Ippo take so many hits from Yamada bruh. Note sure if I cared for Yamada’s backstory and family situation.. I guess the new rookie at the gym will challenge Ippo for the world title in two years… that’s the way things go. Its nothing special to get strong XD Ah well at least it is over haha. |
