This match feels like the ultimate test for Warabi Seinan High School. I'm impressed by how well everyone plays although their opponent's defense is no pushover.

Episode also turned out to be an emotional one for Kei. Tbh, I feel like this episode had an emotional impact on both teams.

The soccer match between Warabi Seinan and Urawa Hosei will be a pivotal one.

The source strongholds of Warabi Seinan, Midori, Nozomi and Suo, and Coaches Naoko and Gorou have already surmised those strategies against a champion team with a Catenaccio 3-4-3 formation approach of Antonio Conte.

A pretty emotional run for Chika who was forced to spearhead the Urawa Hosei team, and they learnt from their past mistakes to depend on one another for motivation and bulding the bonds aganst playing the bad guy for the coach. An outstanding midfielder who assembles the piece of the strategy.

Because of Chika's team's accurancy in footwork, the Warabi Seinan girls are all on fierce attention, interpreting every attack of Urawa Hosei's and making their teamwork count in the 2nd half of the game.

For once, this felt like a PROPER episode following the manga without the anime-original padding, and that's good to watch.

Uruwa Hosei, one of the strongest teams in the whole tournament. Just the fact, that no one in the Saitama prefecture has scored a goal against them in the last couple of years shows how strong their team is. So many strong players like Chika are up against our girls. Even their coach is really proud of the girls.

The first half was intense but somehow it ended on a 0-0. Nozomi still wants to beat them and asked our Panda Eyes coach for a way to take down their opponents and he looked like his frozen heart started to beat once again with that. He finally decided to teach them what should be done. Looking forward to the second half.

I hate the narrative at the beginning because what follow after that is not as exciting as she said. But this is still a good episode nonetheless, because the real star of this episode is actually my favorite character, a panda sensei! Though I prefer him to build more muscle, since he can't play soccer anymore, it's ok for him to buff up his body!

Easily the best episode so far, the presentation was pretty good compared to everything we got previously. Way more animation than we got for matches previously, it was tense and exciting to watch. I hope they keep it up for the remainder of the match.

I love the overlaid narration we get especially when Gorou gave Non-chan some advice to take down the opposing midfielder as she is pivotal to the way Urawa works.
"At that time, I hadn't noticed.
The last piece the team had been missing was a compass to point us in the right direction.
Our coach.
And that rusty heart had begun to beat once more"

Soundtrack was great too.
The only thing I was surprised about was that early on they mention that there were 80 minutes left. I didn't realize that they played full 90 minutes games in high school, always figured the halves were smaller in duration at school based competitions.

Urawa Hosei is one of the strongest teams in the competition with their 'catenaccio. Thanks to Midori the first half ends with a 0-0 draw. I really looking forward to the next episode to see how Warabi fights the mighty Urawa Hosei.

Talking about Antonio Conte, I've wondered where will he manage next? Tottenham? Real Madrid?

I love the mention of Antonio Conte, and is system, while this was of course out before the recent season was even finished, but it's fitting since his side won the league last season. That's how you know, how good the system is.

the whole emptiness when the season is over and there are only national teams playing which noone ever cares...hate that time of the year...wait till September again.

Aha Conte. Best coaach 2013. and now Inter. Never ever could imagine that. I guess the animatiors are hard Inter fans. Tbh seeing him at Spurs would be interesting but well...not happening for sure.

The match began. Its a strong one. Housei did a good job pinning down the central point of Warabi play. But their Conte's strategy to put more pressure into Warabi's defenses line actually the center of their gameplay. Housei coach wasn't just a mere Italian Wannabe. But the real fan of it by applying those popular italian coach strategy into their girls soccer team play. Chika senpai did a good job playing her important role deep down on the midfield areas. Davids? More like a low-level of Kante for me.

Once there's a chance, they managed to form a great straight counter attack and almost sufferred Warabi with their goal. Fortunately, there's Soshizaki on the right place, where she back on time and blocked the only high chance Housei got in the entire episode duration. What a thrilling first-half match for me, to say the very least. However, its not over yet. There's another half to be worry.

Jizo Statue used the deadlock chance on their briefing time to talked to the Panda Eyes Hopeless Coach, which unexpectedly gave such a vague instruction. Ofc she need to taken down those 26. But how, Jizo Statue? Rusty heart of him started to beat fast again, kinda an exaggerating quotation. But its fine, since the coach finally need a real little character development, right?

That was a really great episode! Definitely the best one so far overall. Chika is a beast, Urawa's coach's speech was pretty great, coaches gotta have hearts of steel for the growth of their players.

Slowly but surely Coach Gorou is getting over his trauma through these girls, this episode was a start. Next episode looks like it's gonna be fucking good, looking forward to the second half.

There was a drama on the Warabi Seinan team I practically liked it I thought it doesn't show much of the Warabi Seinan.

I would prefer to see more football action and less "development" moment, that was still a fine episode, better than the previous ones

They are doing quite well in the first half (especially Midori preventing a goal) for a team that lost 0-21 against another powerhouse not that long ago. Also good to see Fukatsu giving a direction on what Onda should do and hopefully soon also some tactics.
