| Cool episode, but I didn't feel that Headhunter Zanku was that big of a threat. Maybe if they spent a few episodes building him up would have marked him seem like a bigger deal :/ |

| Farewell Zanku! If he was too human after all, I don't even wanna know what's left of Akame's soul. She is still cute though. But how couldn't she be in this outfit. I almost laughed at the imperial weapon discussion. They are rare, only 46 of them out there, half of them got lost during the civil war, but EVERYBODY in the organisation owns one. The "May I have one?" actually was not that bad of a question. |

| A bit better than the last episode since Zank is more memorable and has a better design than the last two villains. We have more information about the Imperial Arms and they showed us a bit of Akame past. That girl looks like a relative of her. I was annoyed cuz Tatsumi took the obvious bait there lol. |

| Tatsumi is so easy to bait, jeez. Also, Zanku was such a boring villain but at least he had some screentime and presence compared to everyone else so far from the previous episodes that had to combat against the Night Raid. The writing and dialogue continues to be as cringey as ever, and the action in general just felt soulless. At least there was some minor build as we learn more about the Imperial Arms, from how it came to be, to what exactly each Night Raid member has. Also, learned about Akame and holding someone close to her heart during her battle with Zanku in her vision, but had no hesitation in going for the kill. Plot element planted for the future here. |

| Alright so this is the first ep in this series that I actually liked, the events are consistent and Zank, although a lunatic, is someone fearsome enough to be a powerful adversary for Tatsumi. This is the first time that I feel Tasumi is in any real danger. The action sequence when Akame and Zank has was great, animation was smooth but wow, this show really got some wonderful OSTs huh! Akame's most precious imouto, Kurome, the fact that Akame kills her without hesitation reveals a lot about her character and potentially her history with her precious imouto. I already have an idea now but it's interesting how the story will reveal her past. Yeah, now that we got an explanation about imperial relics, although I do doubt it, who knows. Maybe Tatsumi's sword is like the great prototype of the relics. Just sayin' |

| Akame was pretty badass, but what happened to da relic? thought kenichi look alike would inherit it.. lowkey thought he'd win da fight too but I guess he is still a fledgling. |

| Well Zanku wasn't that much of a threat was he heh. Tatsumi rlly gotta get stronger and not easily baited and all cause I do love me some improvement on mcs. |
