Things like the cheek kiss from chapter 8, Nagatoro dreamily smiling at Senpai's back as he focuses on his work from 10.1, and now the alterations to Nagatoro finding the Nekotoro drawings to focus more on the teasing than on her initial excitement that he drew her unrequested. Changing or cutting this stuff really changes the feeling and progression of the central relationship. When your consider that the chapters are being adapted out of order, it really makes you wonder what exactly the director and series comp writer had in mind when deciding what to include and when. It would be easier to dislike this adaptation if it was all bad, but it's good at some points... just that the story doesn't feel right. I don't want to get too far into discussing the details (I hate spoiling), but obviously everything You wrote is true. I still like the anime, because it allowed me to find this gem, so I will watch it till the end (but I will not tell my friends). Can't help to think what's 774 take about it... |
| I was surprised that they depicted Nagatoro in such good physical shape. It does make sense seeing as she is an athlete but it was nice to see they would go to that level of detail. |

He seems pretty excited just to have his work animated. He's tweeted about changing his sleep schedule so he can watch episodes live, and if you were wondering why this episode's ending looks so much like his old Nagatoro 8-bit game, it's because he actually made this weeks ED according to a recent tweet. So he seems fine, at least on the surface (I can't imagine hedvocally denounce the adaptation even if he did take issue with the changes to his work). |
| The dream part, bunny suit is cool and stuff but Yosshi was cooler with the dinosaur hat. Beach part was chill. Sun up, tan lines,and a having fun montage. The sunscreen part made me miss Haganai. |

| The isekai part was very funy and unique skill 'Virgin for Life' will make to Keyarga (Kaiyari) a imposible and unbeateable skill. The yoshi borning part, im pretty sure that Nintendo will hear of it. And that the best friend partner being the DarkLord is a very good concept. The beach part was very nice how jealous and nice is nalgatoro to senpai. |

| The isekai bit was somewhat throwaway, but still fun. I especially got a kick out of the Easter egg in the "stats" pages. (Check out the stats, particularly intelligence, for all the girls once they're demons. :) ) Senpai goes to the beach was done well enough. And he actually did manage to have fun in the end. Jealous Nagatoro never does get old. The 8-bit ending was absolutely awesome. I would have watched it for that alone. |

| Damn. Even in his dreams, Senpai is a wimp and keeps getting bullied. On the other hand, Nagatoro's friends continue to be plagues but I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy seeing them in swimsuits. |

| 8-bit ED version was great!!! even the visuals are marvellously pixelated!!! LOL at the Chichibu Nagatoro realm of Senpai's dream! that was a long dream! Nagatoro is Nekotoro! and she's also Demon Lord Magatoro!! Gamo-chan is Demon Lord Magagamo!! Yosshi is Demon Lord Magayosshi!! BEACH EPISODE!!! oh look at that yandere eyes again of Nagatoro-san!!! damn! look at those sunburned tanned mizugi marks of Nagatoro-san! so erotic! Senpai is so lucky! getting stepped by three hot girls! i envy him!!! 5/5! |

| Is this the best episode so far? No, but I couldn't really care less as it had loads of fanservice and that's fine by me! =P The mini isekai adventure was fun and seeing Nagatoro in a cat outfit while changing her name to "Nekotoro" was cute. It also had some good animation as well. Shame it was nothing more than Senpai's dream, but he did make drawings of Nekotoro in his sketch book, which Nagatoro found after he accidentally left the book behind. After that came the obligatory beach segment, where we were treated to Nagatoro and her two friends wearing some sexy bikinis. Nagatoro in her swimsuit was already excellent and the tan lines of that are still present on her body, but her bikini just makes her look even sexier. Good stuff! X3 Senpai got himself a 3-way foot sun lotion applied into his body, which was amusing, but the fact that he ended up swimming and having fun at the beach overall was great. He even got a sketch of Nagatoro in her bikini which was shown at the end of the episode. =) Lastly, the 8-bit twist to the ED song, as well as the 8-bit animation, was great! Shame it's only for this episode, but I prefer it over the standard ED theme. |
| Great episode! Senpai got isekai'd and Nekotoro finally makes an appearance! Lmao, that was definitely a Mario reference right when Yoshi hatched from the egg. Betrayed or not at least Senpai got a kiss in the cheek in his dream. I really like how they rearrange things but I wish the scene where Nagatoro found the drawing was a little bit longer, since it was one of my favorite parts of the manga, but hey better than it getting cut out completely. Ahh yes, Nagatoro has transcended beach episodes lmao. You done fucked up Senpai, you don't mention that you and Nagatoro are not dating even though you really aren't in the presence of Nagatoro herself. Really looking forward to the next episode! Judging from the preview, it's gonna be fucking good. That special 8bit ED though was so good. |

| I like this anime. I've read Nagatoro manga since the beginning, but not all available chapters yet, because I stopped reading some time ago (after the zoo trip). Wishy-washy Naoto has been domesticated by presumptuous Hayase, Maki and Yosshi to the point that he dreams about them and comes with them to the beach. Although their relation started as harassment, wee see gradually evolving into an unconventional romantic relationship. It shows when Nagatoro is sometimes jealous of Senpai. Perhaps the meek protagonist is happier with his new-found connection. For sure life has become more interesting. The isekai adventure was a diverting piece of content which I welcome. Naoto doesn't get killed thanks to irresistibly cute Nekotoro. Turns out he feels subjugated by them even when he sleeps. The beach excursion is something which often happens in anime romcoms. Of course it has to contain this show's flavour, so Hachiouji after sitting in shade, drawing and looking at the trio, gets a foot massage from his not quite (to be?) girlfriend.  Look at this precious couple! |

| This episode was so good! Definitely one of the best we have seen. The whole adventure scene was so good, and then Nagatoro got his drawings xD On the other hand, the beach episode was a success (for senpai), even tho he had to get some rough sunscreen application xD I mean, he's clearly not realizing how lucky he is. Also gotta love how Nagatoro casually kissed him ahaha what a queen. That last scene, damn so good!  |

| Who is the girl at the beginning meant to be? Did they just make a pun with Yoshi with her hatching from an egg? Look at those tanlines. Nagatoro just wants to be alone with Senpai, but Gamo-chan and Yoshi are always quick to have their share of the fun. I like that vgm rendition of the theme and the pixel graphics. |
