I loved tsugumomo season 2. First season in "Fine" category I think but second season... I love new characters, action, epic scenes, lewd scenes, storyline and especially final ep. So, where is season 3? when is it fall? Any status update in somewhere?

I think they want to but they literally don't advertise this show so sales maybe poor but the manga is going strong

For now there's no news but considering we got season 2 after a while and animation was pretty good too so maybe they're taking there time and this is a monthly manga adaptation so maybe they wanna have content left for later season instead of catching up

I hope so, tsugumomo quickly became one of my favorite underrated animes. Awesome action, awesome animation, awesome soundtrack, awesome ecchi scenes. What's not to love? Just comes down to how successful the anime was, which I dont know.

Some things can only be achieved through animation.

The Tsugumomo OVA was announced on March 6, 2019 alongside the announcement of a second season of the anime. It was crowdfunded via Fanbeats raising 7,989,500 yen, obtaining 266% of their original goal of 3 million yen.

Looks like they can crowdfund it if they really need to. I wouldn't be surprised if the leftover money was put into the fight scenes in season 2. I could see them making a second OVA while they wait for more chapters to come out, which can happen a lot with monthly released manga. It will probably be at least 2-3 years before another season. In the mean time a Grand Blue season 2 wouldn't hurt.

it actually started to get watchable and enjoyable in second half of season 2 and then they stop. this needs a season 3 especially after that cliffhanger.
