So basically it's confirmed that Tenchi's married to all of them now. Also some good scenes with Kenshi getting his domestic skills from the rest of his family.

Finally after like 30 years since the original began they got married. One thing I’ve never understood is why Fuku can talk but Ryououki can’t as the original. Oh well this is awesome. I still can’t help but wait around until they hypnotize kenshi so all these things he’s seeing, he will forget about

He married a space ship? I always thought Ryo-Ohki is more of a pet character... Wonder if we can expect another series showing their further life.

Toei just purchased half of Tenchi and other AIC properties. It couldn't hurt prospects for more continuations. An ANN article even says they're working on another Pretty Sammy/Magic Sasami series.

BTW-

Tenchi has NOT married anyone yet. This was the announcement and blessing.

Not even Tenchi wears jeans to his wedding.

There is a baby shown in the first preview for episode 6, but it's probably either Seina's, or maybe even Seina's nephew (Kai and Yoshiko got married).

But I'd expect The Kids to be a sole focus for a new series. I've theorized that this is pretty much the swan song for "Ryo-Ohki" as a series. Maybe a special or maybe even a movie gets made to feature weddings, kid introductions, and maybe a wrap up to "Geminar."

But maybe that's AFTER a 2nd Geminar season? "Tenchi! IF" would be an entirely new series. One can hope. They have the financial backing to do more now.

But AIC is a shadow of its former self and hasn't produced anything but Tenchi since 2014 or 15. They want to release an array of show revivals to mark an anniversaries, but don't have the money or in-house staff to do it.

Toei, although not known for cutting-edge anything, are super-focused on legacy products and are just about as steady of a company as you can get.

About Geminar, I still hope for two more seasons ... I want the ending of "Ryo-Ohki" to have the families of this universe together, and for Kenshi to also appear with his harem and children!

If this "new" agreement doesn't influence the design and direction, that's fine with me!
