| Didn't expect the crossover with Ne Zha at the end. I'm actually pretty excited to watch the next movie by them now as both Ne Zha and this were pretty good. |

| this was a awesome movie. Animation wise- top notch (even better than ne zha, according to me, Intro at the beginning was artistic) Storywise- engaging and enjoyable (kept me at the edge of the seat) character- both villan and protagonists were really interesting Ending-?...that was cryptic (I didn't get it clearly) there were 2 ester eggs and a sequel trailer In one, 3 guys came to meet Jiang ziya in prison. Who are they supposed to be? (Is that some sort of rehash from Chinese mythology?) I did not get it. I hope someone would explain eventually. the other was ne zha and jiang ziya crossover. though that felt out of continuity and just as some fan appeal short. also Is there 2 Shen Gongbao ? (there is one in ne zha and now another in jiang ziya and both looks different. Its confusing since nezha and jiang ziya are supposed to be in same universe) who is supposed to be the grandmaster? I am so confused by the end. I was going to give it a 9. but since the ending is so confusing and unsatisfying, i will give it a 8/10 |

| Ever since I watched Nezha, I was anticipating for this movie after its trailer at the end. Boy did it not disappoint. Since the start of the movie I fell in love with the characters and nearly cried as to see how Jiang Ziya lost it all for believing in his ideals. Yet he stood firm and never gave in to the temptations of heaven. Every one is worthy of salvation, be it the gods or the devils. Also that end scene really teased some new characters. Those three at the place where gods are banished. Hope they have something in works related to that as a sequel. Btw has anyone heard of the new movie Nezha Reborn? Is it related to this universe? |
