A Kuwana focused chapter this time. Her conversation with Yatora was pretty frustrating. Thou I'm glad she managed to talk it out with her family. Also she cut her hair short, she doesn't look that different then before thou.

the yaguchi feelings are soooooo relatable, at least with me.
definitively one of the better representation of anxiety that I ever seen (like, the TRUE feeling of anxiety)

This manga keeps surprising me with how relatable it is. Hits hard sometimes, especially with themes of impostor syndrome, failure and self consciousness. Just the playing by a set of totally new rules. Definitely loved Maki this chapter

Love how characters grow along side each other. Rooting for both of them! Looking forward to see what will come of Kuwana's sculpting. I feel she will succeed this time.

It might be weird to say, but I'm missing Yotasuke scenes. He's my favourite character, and I find scenes with him the most enjoyable.

Art comes from deep inside you, so doubting your art can really make you feel lost. Yaguchi keeps feeling like he's understanding what he wants with art, but new situations make him keep losing his way. I hope he learns to believe that what he'd said to Kuwana applies to him too. Having fun is the most important thing with art. (Although, technique is important too.)

I had stopped reading this for some months so that I could binge read this, but I'll have to stop on this chapter for now. The story's too heavy for me right now. I'm not emotionally ready for this just yet. (I hope this doesn't try to continue in my dream)

I never would've thought that there is a character I relate to so much (especially after disliking Yatora's guts in the beginning) - I've never pursued any artistic life goal but his inner monologues hit so close to home. Great to see the dynamic between him and the rest of the cast! So ready for the next volume to come out.

Man, I love Miki, her energy is so needed right now after all the pain and depression. I do agree though, Yatora is in badly need of a hobby, a hobby could possibly widen his horizons.

Really loved Yatora and Maki's conversation, such fantastic characters, I teared up when they teared up. It's really really hard to choose a favorite character in this series, every main characters are so great, but Maki is definitely a personal favorite, best girl. Yatora is also of course a given. I am glad Maki is trying new things. Yatora needs too do so as well, he can do it at his own pace, just feel things out first.

Might be my favorite chapter rn. I love the gloom atmosphere but with comfort from Yatora's friends at the beginning, the admiring exchange with Kuwana-san, plus her taking up another route thru sculpting, and the end might imply that there are many possibilities for Yatora.
