| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, it's election day and we got important speeches. I really can't help but laugh a bit whenever Minami gets touchy with Tomozaki though. She's just so hyer energetic whenever she's in a good mood. This episode also brings out a lot of Aoi's personality once again and her determination in her speech. Quite frankly, I think this election brings out a lot of personalities out of the cast. |

| Kikuchi wasn't even shown that much this episode, but her and Tomozaki's interactions are just adorable to see. Gotta love Ai Kayano. As the series goes on, I am just impressed on how this show manages to make me invested with its story and its characters, especially Tomozaki. Hope this series ends with a bang, as it has a chance of being a sleeper hit this season. |

| These speeches were hella corny, but I will give Tomozaki some credit. Nice episode again. Mimimi still giving her best(also at being a pervert xD) Tho it seems like it's getting more taxing for her to uphold her energy with the constant pressure and always acting brash and energetic. Guess next week we're going to see a different her, her "true" self, so to speak. The ending implies that imo. |

| Episode 7 is out, and her we catch up with the crew as they go through their elections speeches. Aoi uses her social skills to make her speech fun and turns tomzakis plan on its head by promises ac in every classroom. Mimimi is scared as their plan has just been bested, but they go with their plan anyways. Mimimi’s speech idea is to use a fake ai that gives predetermined answers that makes mimimi sound like shes adlibbing, and this was well received. The results are in, and Aoi wins by a large margin. Aoi congratulates tomazaki on his idea, and tells him to ask out kikuchi which he does so after some awkward moments. Mimimi gains some new energy and tries her hardest to best Aoi in any way, from running laps to studying, and hanabi tells tomazaki how mimimi and her met. Tomzaki hangs out with the trio, but the narration tells us that something is wrong with mimimi. Episode was great,. some good character development that was sorely missed from prior episode, can't wait for the next one! |

| As an Alice stan any Kayano Ai character is instantly best girl contender, love Kikuchi. Even though Tomozaki and Mimimi lost in a landslide, it wasn’t for nothing. They gained a lot from it. I loved Fuuka and Tomozaki’s library interaction today. So proud of my boy for asking her on a solo date. Said it before and I’ll say it again, he’s already had more development than 8man had in 3 seasons. This is one of the few shows I really look forward to on a weekly basis. |

| Ah, they lost. Its kinda expected tho, with how good Hinami took over their mood and controlling very nicely. Even Tomozaki-kun couldn't even thing a preventive action and only depend on that little adlib. Well, its at least gave a good fight without even mentioning their whole effort. Chill, girl! As its not getting good, somehow its effect Mimimi way of life too much than they thought. I dunno... Anyway, apparently, the self-realization and improvement of Tomozaki-kun continued as if she finally succeeded to reached Tama out by himself using that Mimimimimi late practices to surpass Hinami into a toll of those flag-event. Indirectly, Tomozaki-kun always got a good lesson from those girls without any consideration. Lucky guy! I can't help but feel decent with all of those thing happened in the first place. Because, well, that's the usual teen school drama story for you. Its even may continue for the time being, in the next episode tok. As if these past two episodes was not enough to conclude the loss of their journey. I just hope they don't forget Fuuka's time, with all of those intensification, tho, really xd. |

| Man, the election part was quite intense. Tomozaki saved the day for Mimimi. The interactions between Kikuchi and Tomozaki are adorable as ever. I love how cheerful Mimimi is. Tomozaki is doing great. |

| I fear the Student Council elections, because the pressure is humongous, and this episode it's all about winning people's hearts like a game...so much for "controlling the mood". Aoi vs. Minami, and from then it's a tough game of wits and valor to get common interests going and strike a chord. Air conditioning for the entire school vs. Siri ad-libbing, it's clear who the victor is, but a nice effort from Tomozaki and Minami for fighting their way through. The Student Council project done and aside, it's back to improving Tomozaki's personality, and it seems that his and Fuka's relationship is growing more comfortably. If anything, I'd hope that the both of them would progress well. The gamers' talk between Aoi and Tomozaki though, it has always been food for thought, but without action it feels plain. I'd feel that Minami reeling Tama into her clique naturally is annoying, but the acceptance is what makes the heart fonder for her...with the cheek-poking. I feel an inkling like you Tama, being a social outcast before. Another good episode, to which the character development fleshes out more prominently for the better. |

I also feel like this would be a nice addition and they kinda suit each other. Don't know what will happen in the next episode but the moment they introduced Minami as a character I expected that at some point she will run out of energy because her behavior did seem a bit too forced. Hope it's just a phase and that her whole personality isn't forced. |

| How did they think that a gag would make them win the election? Anyway, we learned how Minami and Hanabi become friends. Minami has a really good personality put she still had another persona. It looks like she’ll stop doing things that she doesn’t want to do and drop her fake personality. I didn’t like the election part, the rest of this episode was alright. |

| Mimimi and Tomozaki may have lost the election for student council president; however, they both gained a little something from the experience. Tomozaki has now become more assertive than ever and Mimimi's campaign lose has encouraged her to work even harder so she can one day beat Aoi. |

| Sad that Mimimi lost but understandable since Tomozaki basically turns Mimimi's speech into a comedy act (still fits her character). The only gripe I have with this show is that Aoi is perfect. No flaws whatsoever. I have no clue how she has the time of day to train track, study enough to be the top of her class, practice TackFam enough to be the 2nd best player in the nation, maintain a social life, and now work as the student council pres. |

Dont include endless shounen like Naruto pls :) Also drama shit where the female lead dies and thats why she does not end with the protag does not count as well. | If anything this election has enabled Fumiya to fight a real battle with Aoi in the real world thats just as intense as their fights in Takfam. But her prep for her speech was flawless even knowing exactly the moves that her opponents were making as well. Fumiya's developing relationship with Fuuka also seems to be going quite well too. Minami and Tama though have quite the unique relationship. Still through his continuing assistance to Minami and his developing bonds with Fuuka Fumiya's rehab is going pretty well. |

| This episode was alright I guess, It’s basically your cliche “I want to be school president” kind of episode. And the main character asking a girl out to see a theatre movie or something *DUn DuN DUUUUN* That’s basically what I had in this episode (apart from the ending) |

| I really wanted Minami to win the election, but Hinami is just too strong. I do have to say that the speeches weren't very impressive, just that Hinami played it really well, which led to her winning. So Minami has also reached out to Hinami for help, to get Tama to fit in. Honestly worked pretty well and that also explains the unique relationship they have. Well, everything considered, all three of them together are quite unigue, especially Minami and her pervy ways. cenj0o said: Tomozaki says Mimimi changed the day after . . . Aoi is manipulative, calculating, quite unpleasant when you know her intentions, but i can't really hate her. her effort is a bit admirable (today this kinda actituted it seems like a waste of time to me tho) and its a fairly valid depict of ambitious people at all costs. i'd like to see what happens if sometime things don't go the way she wants. |

| Here comes Election day and ALthough I know Aoi would win by a landslide because of her popularity, I was rooting for Mimimi to win. Both of the speeches were good and planned accordingly. Yes, Tomozaki asked Kikuchi out to watch the Andi film in Shibuya lets goooo. This anime has gotten way better than the beginning. |

| And the election ended as it probably should have done. A good effort was made by the MC but he got out played in his own strategy. Nice back story on our main characters complete with a "soft" cliff hanger at the end. Still a good series to watch! |

| I guess the elections ended well as far as Mimimi and Tomozaki goes. They got pretty close. But having introverted girl like Hanabi conviently spill out her backstory to a guy felt... just wrong. She wouldn't do that IRL. Having such convenient plot device that like that instead of letting him find it out for himself was wasted opportunity and writer's shortcut. And the conversation about effort Tomozaki had with Hinami was also pretty weird. Judging that she was still deep in thought in the end as well, she has probably some problems on her shoulders. But unlike others she keeps everything locked inside. Probably some issues with Takahiro? Also, the reason why she is constantly helping others may stem from her own insecurities. And the way she's putting a front like that, always in need to worry about the next (remember the scene where Tomozaki found her training on dictaphone) it can be said she doesn't really have any freedom to act on her own, the more so that she is the student council president right now. |

She is constantly aiming for something unattainable Could be she is actually kinda jealous of Mimimi that they had fun with Tomozaki even though they lost. (or Hinami told her to stop following her offscreen... probably in hope she'll find herself heathier goal but unknowingly breaking her mask. | Campaign speeches to see who can be more down to earth and just overall be more fun. Ideal, no, but I like the approach to win the votes. Tomozaki is just about completely competent now, especially compared to the earlier episodes. Although I kind of miss the cringe; it’s a bit boring without it. At least it’s better now; mc-kun has really progressed far and has even asked a chick out. |

| My boy Tomozaki scored a hot date with Kikuchi, good job lol, and the election was stolen from Mimimi but it was kinda expected, at least she wasn’t that hurt by it (maybe), it was a good plan they had too. I’m interested in seeing what happens with Mimimi next week, I hope she’s alright but it’s probably the exact opposite lol. I am also brandishing a theory about why Hinami is helping Tomozaki and I’ve had it for a while, idk if it’s right but we’ll see. |

Honestly, at this point I feel that Tomozaki is actually more close to her than Hinami ever was. i guess when she said that in the game of life some things may come up that can't be solved so easy, implies that she's not completely happy with her situation. but i dont feel that until now she give more importance to those feelings than to achieve her goals of being socially accepted (and being in position 1 of everything that is proposed) when i say that something doesnt turn out as she expects, i mean something more about being attached to others or what she loses by putting so much effort into being the best at everything. am anime only but i think that feeling of failure may come in a friendship breakdown (or a change in the relationship) with Minmi and Tama-chan. in fact, her character seems interesting to me and that is why i'd like to see her in other less pleasing situations |
