The ride finally slowed down a bit. Rebecca is under constant survaillance and Weisz and Homura are nowhere to be found. We see Pino and Happy and it broke my heart :'(. Joe only needs her power of Cat Leaper, but won't tell her what it is cause he doesn't want her to activate it on purpose, jokes on him she did it anyways and we're back when this began, before the assault. Hope the regroup and get the hell out of there.

We knew it was coming especially with actions of Shiki dying, as well Pino and Happy being heavily damage and apparent 'slaves' Weisz and Homura are in their conditions. No way they could continue on without them or bring them back without it feeling 'out of nowhere' on explanation. Plus feels like Joe planned this by seeing how she use the power. To test her powers to which that means some characters could remember this or feel something 'off' like Nino did in Sun Jewel when fighting her. Could be interesting how all characters could react and go forward on.

Could be like Steins Gate and Re:Zero situations, but much darker and consequences still stick badly from it.

This was expected, but I'm glad that the aftereffects on Rebecca was fear, because feae changes people.

I just hope that this isn't like the Gildarts and Natsu thing where Gildarts taught Natsu about fear and then it was completely neglected throughout the rest of the series.

I believe in Mashima this time around though, his writing has been A LOT better and he seems to have a plan this time around. He mentioned how he didn't plan out Fairy Tail but with so many cryptic messages and foreshadowing in Edens Zero, I'm sure that he's changed his story writing approach this time around

so she time travelled.
Look beside the SF part, eden zero plot follow a pretty similar path as fairy tail.
This arc with dispair and lucy kidnapping look silimar phantom lord guild arc.
And rebecca cat leaper look a bit like her FT counterpart to use E.N.D book, means the ability to rewrite history.

Not really. This been going different direction than FT and time stuff have been use and heavily involved since very early of start of the series. It was expected for Leaper to happen and this was good early point to establish more, but doesn't just because she can reverse time, bad stuff won't ever happen as time doesn't work like that. By trying to fix a issue, you create new ones and some events can still happen. This probably where series will have as one of their themes.

So as every expected last week (we b time traveling), I hope Rebecca's overwhelming fear does not mess her up too too bad to make her useless when it counts. And I hope Mashima doesn't make me watch Shiki getting shot in the head again (pls spare my sanity).

But hey, I will take a chapter like this after the craziness of last week :)

as i said on that thread

reading this thread i like to think there are 2 kinds of time travel in fiction and that are many worlds theory or the multiverse/multi-timelines theory and retrocausality (reverse causality) which means the future changes the past so in this case Rebecca goes back in time to change the past but ye this will open up the grandfather paradox though

so we have to wait for what kind of time travel Edens Zero have

although Xiamei says in chapter 45 that the future branches into several possibilities (many worlds theory)

Nah not really. Nice bandwagon hate post. You still on that shit? Got get a life man. This was foreshadowed on her abilities since very early series and last arc even stated what it is. Nothing to do with plot armor or BS. Also you do realize just because she went back doesn't remove situation and trouble as similar if not same events can still happen since they are not ready to face Joe and his crew especially Shiki side already landed on BG as this is exact moment Rebecca to in the start of the arc. Plus you do realize he done time stuff already on Norma Arc and Guilst Arc? Lime how you ignoring those points where it trapped people in time loop forever and the latter erased people from existence. Time Theme been apparent thing and just because it's in use doesn't mean series will tension or consequences.

Got stop trying everything chapter thread on hate baiting. Got learn to grown up more than still comparing it to past series your still salty about. EZ is still on different scale on how it's going.

I had a feeling she was the time traveler of the series. Two guns and "sort-of" quirks just reminds me of Tracer - which reminds me of all time travelling characters who don't obey the laws.

So the premonition at the beginning of the arc was foreshadowing after all. Or she experienced that for real and just leaped back in time.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

There were kind of heavy chapters. Really excited to read further, but also feeling bad at the same time for what the characters are going through.

But glad now the situation got "resolved" and Rebecca was able to ser them all again
