It's still airing. Episodes come out very slowly. Currently, there are 7 episodes, and the production has entered a hiatus due to corona and the resulting lack of funds.

Actually, seems like it might be dead
According to the guy who did the fansubs, Murakami isn't working on it anymore but instead selling NFTs
No idea if this will ever be picked up again, given that it's been so long since they released the latest episode

It said this when episode 3 was uploaded subbed:

"It’s rumored that after finishing Jellyfish Eyes 2 (Mememe no Kurage 2) Studio Poncotan may resume production of 6HP, so perhaps the show isn’t dead yet and we’ll get to see episode 8 and beyond."

So there might be more eventually.

I think it's supposed to be 12 or 13 episodes. we're halfway, sort of?
I like it but it's not worth the wait imo.
judging by how long it takes to make a single episode, we'll still be waiting in 2050.
