| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Harada freaked out this chapter. He refused to evade Ginji and play by his rules but it nearly got him down to 7000 points when Soga stepped in once more as Harada’s bodyguard. Without Soga, Harada may be out by now… Ginji has been deadly and it hurts that Soga is stopping the blows. But, it was also great to see Harada’s perspective as he struggled to deal with Ginji’s marks and called a break to think about it outside, where Hiroyuki was earlier if I recall. As Ginji on the inside felt as though he had one more shot, the moonlight revealed the trick to Harada whereas the bright lights hid it. He thinks he’s finished Ginji now, and if they both know his markings and Ginji doesn’t know Harada knows then Harada has a chance to get a powerful counter attack. That is assuming Ginji didn’t set up fake marks to trick him... |
| I'll try to call it now: The marks on the tiles are Ginji's finger prints. That's why the ganpai is only "partial", as they will vanish if being handled enough by the other players. Although Ginji being out of cigarettes felt like a hint too, but I can't imagine nicotine marks being the secret lol Also on a side note, I like when they show the characters eating something and taking a break. It makes sense that you couldn't play for hours and hours without needing a little rest. It just makes these gangsters look a bit more real, like humans. |
