So, a joint training between schools to improve their speed...

It makes sense given that every competitor constantly tries to improve themselves. Kasahara's determination is kinda admirable but at the same time, she has a lot to work towards to.

Glad Jun was able to talk Konomi out of her slump! Jun got out of hers last week and now Konomi’s good to go. Sad to think we only got a few more eps left :(

I was thinking of this last week as well but i like jun with her ponytail it looks very good on her.
And Konomi hit a major obstacle with speed climbing her observation doesn't seem to be very useful here but i think she does need it to overcome the obstacle.
If she masters this speed climbing she will probably perform a lot better in the other subjects as well.
It fun to watch.

A lot of training, well Konomi needs to be faster but at least Jun is back... that girl at the end seems to be interesting but if there are only 2 episodes left I doubt that we'll have some real competition or things like that, maybe for a second season idk

The whole Hanamiya Team is back for a Restart (at least for both Konomi and Jun), and more training in the weaker aspects.

Next to conquer: Speed Climbing, and it's unlike the problem-solving puzzles of the past. The whole Hanamiya Team really giving the rookie Konomi a run-down, but that just doesn't seem to be enough.

A multi-school joint training camp, and even as previous competitors come back to thwart the "Murder Observation" rookie, with the routesetter-cum-trainer being the same as the previous Cup, it all fits for an extra dose of confidence with competitors' analysis.

I'd think the weakness of Konomi adapting everyone's moves is more like a curse in disguise, and it takes nothing more than the usual rival to snap her out of her depression (first with Jun and Akane, and now Konomi and Kurea).

A new competitor has appeared! The challenges don't stop coming.

All the girls trying to bring down Konomi mentally. At least Kurea in the end tried to encourage Konomi, and so did Jun.

Looks like there is a new competitor who is really fast. Konomi can learn a few things from her.

They really wanna wrap this up in two episodes? No way, and I really doubt this will get a second season...

Yes Jun-chan is back!!

All their rivals at the training camp were fun to see again and it's good that Konomi snapped out of her mini personal dilemma.

I wonder who the new girl is though? 2 episodes left already. Time goes by so fast.

Yea it that's what I was thinking too. I really wonder how they are going to wrap it up. Most likely a rushed ending? Well we just have to wait to find out.

Ponytail Jun is great, please don't cut your hair Jun. Great episode, I am liking the character developments, this time for Konomi. Uchimura and Kurea might be dicks on the outside but, they're good people in the inside.

A new girl has appeared, that girls way of speed climbing might be the one to help Konomi. At this pace, there's no fucking way the show will end in 2 episodes right. There's definitely going to be a 2nd season.

Everyone had their troubles. These episode surely gave the idea of Konomin having a great hurdle again over the speed climbing style that looks out of her minds. Her analytical method was still useless if she couldn't even learn her unique style. More importantly to balanced her stamina, her flexibility, and power. By combining all of them, it would create a powerful jump each cruxes, to perfectly speed the whole performance into an infinite course. A perfect scores reach the result. Do not too worry about the whole lost, Konomin. Everyone already facing against in their own problem related to the climbing issues, such as Jun, and the other climber girls. But, you better work more hard to found the trick by yourself, Konomin. Because no matter what, its just yourself body to put up a good conclusion over the speeding style of climb. Lets see the next to see Konomin's development to overcome her 'speed' hurdle!

Well Jun is back as she is with Konomi on the speed climbing training. They will train with the other schools, most notably Akane (stop your meows pls) and Oba-san. Konomi hits a hard ceiling this episode as she struggles to climb 15 seconds and is trying to imitate the other players' climbing technique. That didn't help her at any bit and now she is stuck in this low, depressing state.

Oba-san did not take that lightly and tries to find the version of Konomi that she wants to defeat. This along with Jun's advice helps Konomi just a bit to regain her confidence and we got a new player by the end of the episode. She is really fast that Konomi took a sudden interest

Next week, the continuation of this training and I guess they're going to cram this and the main tournament for 2 episodes (well goodluck I guess). The chances of a second season is really low, hope they capped this season decently.

Konomi.exe rebooting.

Ooba's slap was definitely worth it for her to snap out from thinking negatively. This is one of those animes where you'd really appreciate your rivals as they aren't those usual ones. Instead, they use the rivalry to boost each other!

That ear rape at the end sure was for free, uh? Thanks, series.

Mediocre episode overall. It had its moments like the scene at the bedroom with Jun comforting Konomi but honestly, the general idea of rivals "encouraging" others by acting like total dicks is not really of my liking.

There are two manga:

1. Iwa Kakeru! Climbing Girls (4 volumes, completed)

2. Iwa kakeru !! Try a new climbing (4 volumes) - not included in the MAL database.

The first manga was filmed entirely in episodes 1-8.
Starting from the 9th episode - the adaptation of the second manga.
And, from the way I see the previews of the manga volumes - at the end of the 10th episode, the anime is around the beginning of the second volume of the second manga.

I honestly doubt that it's realistic to adequately fit 3 volumes of manga into two episodes.
And I also don't know if the second manga is finished or if it's still ongoing.

Go back and watch the end of every episode it's always some extremely random ass shot it's the one thing this show always gets me laughing because i don't know how self aware they are when they do it this time it had some loud sound.

not sure how this ends with 2 eps left also pls no bully

Love this ep its pretty enjoyable
If Jun has Uehara the meow girl as rival,
Konomi has Oba the ballerina lol instead of letting them down they help their rivals which i like in this anime.

Also i starting to like the meow girl shes been very helpful this past eps and pretty hilarious too

Konomi crying is so cute

It is therefore 'normal' or 'funny' that a person gets slapped (for reasons) and that this one apologizes because they (probably) deserved the slap.

I know this series isn't worth, but it's funny how its author, probably a hikikomori who's never interacted with anyone, doesn't understand anything about human relationships.

I wouldn't be suprised if somebody would report routesetter Nakata to the police given how he exames at glance a girls muscles through her clothes. Good to see that our prodigy Konomi also struggles heavily with the sport, with a good slap our robot should be working fine soon.

I like Ooba. She is so classy and graceful. Of course this anime bitch-slap was stupid and cliche as hell, but i understand her anger about Konomi's demoralisation.
The megane middle-aged dude creeps me the hell out.

Lots of training and also a forced drama followed by a cliché bitch-slap, lol. Konomi didn't deserve that. :(

That lightning fast blonde at the end was unexpected.
