Welp, those tears came pouring out.

However, the episode also had some humorous moments during the whole recovery process. For one part, there's the guys coming in with their energy that brings a lot of laughter. On the battle lines, we also got the imminent threat of the Pillars.

I hope they know how to deal with this like usual.

Man the miko death flags were strong today. I really hope she comes back ok, but they’ve been set up.

So in this world Norse mythology doesn’t exist? No one knows about Thor, Asgard or Ragnarok? Interesting. So this pretty much proves my theory that Odin is having the humans unknowingly participate in ragnarok for him and has been lying by omission for some time now. Why? Still not quite sure, but hopefully we’ll get more answers next week.

Poor Sono, feel bad for her, but she’s much stronger than she realises and I imagine she’ll get to show it next week. Can’t wait.

I’ve also been thinking this way for a while, but on the promotional poster for the show, some of the cast is facing to the left and some to the right, could be a classic way of distinguishing who’s going to die and who’s going to survive. ๐Ÿ˜”

Good episode again.

Is something happens to Miko-chan, I'm going to be heartbroken. She's the most delightful part of this show. Those odds in the sky against that pillar don't look inviting but I'll hope for the best.

So we've entered Valhalla on the other side, interesting that none of them seem to know who or what is pictured. Odin did mention Ragnarok before, curious if he or some other Gods will show up in Valhalla.
I've no clue how that are going to fight that guardian. I assume guns aren't going to be that effective and I don't think Azu or Claudia can hope to do much in CQC unless Claudia unlocks some kind of Valkyrie powerup.

Great episode. Nobody wants to see Miko go.
The three-man squad were amusing again.

Things are not looking good for Claudia and Azu. I wonder how they will get around this problem.

Why did Azuzu look like she was entering a jungle when she entered Valhalla xD.

This is like some mission impossible type stuff except not as dramatic, still pretty dramatic though.

It would seem every Valkyrie is in a tough spot towards the end. Azuzu and Claudia must face off against the guardian of Valhalla, Miyako's fighting a powerful pillar in the air and Sonoka must try to help the lady give birth in a death defying time. I'm curious to see how this will play out!

Good episode :)

As if the death of Yayoi last episode wasn't death flags of an indication enough, the remainder of the Tateyama forces and the Valkyries (without Sonoka) face even tougher enemies on their way out, and thankfully Commander Satomi has one under his sleeve for a strike-back.

Odin's crypticness on the whole Thor/Asgard/Valhalla issue still stands, but being a messenger of Gods (and the whole "reaching Ragnarok" secrecy plan) and Claudia being "his daughter", I'd be willing to bet of lives lost for mere sacrifice, for the benefit of one.

"Vahalla's gate will always be opened to you. Friend or foe, that's for the escorts, Azuzu and Claudia to find out, while Miko and the rest do some coventry work. And welp, did not take long for a guardian Pillar to appear outta nowhere.

What all this entrails to, still is up in airs.

Given that we lost the base their next logical step will be to find a new base to stage themselves from. Still the battle sure cost us dearly in both lives and in material. Sometimes being paranoid about prep can serve to bring them back from the brink. Guess Satomi's hunch proved correct this time. Never thought that Miyako's simple nature can be useful though. I feel for Lizbet though surviving that battle but finding that your best friend didn't upon waking up. While Odin being sneaky and hiding something was as expected this being a entrance to another realm was quite the surprise. Sonoka must be devastated after hearing of Yayoi's death. Its to her credit that she was able to recover that fast. The heartfelt gratitude from the two girls that she saved sure did well in healing her heart though im sure it will take time to fully heal. Overall an interesting ep that did well to confirm some of the suspicions that I had about Odin. He was definitely hiding a lot more intel that he was telling us. Between the worsening situation on the frontlines and the revelation about Odin's lies feels like the truth of this war will be out soon.

Counter attack has been plan toward a massive intentional retreated from the previous episode. But, thanks to the general recording device, they managed to pull off some information to solved the mystery. Odin, actually, beside him being a shaddy in the background, kept performing his best clue to help his beloved Valkyrie. Azu realized it, nice, better to Claudia too. So, as her remembered the clue from Odin, suddenly a shiny light appeared to be the gate to Valhalla. Nice! Now they could enter a fantasy sacred place without much peoples even knew the meaning behind those. However, when Claudia did her magic, once again, something happened on those sacred place. Azu was late to realized, ofc those portrait was Odin and Thor at your world, girl! So lets see how well they dealt with those antic monster. It seems that those guy would became their martyr, as already happened previously. A sacrificial decision must be important to save the main girls!

Meanwhile, the world had their own problems after Miko wanted to retake the former airbase. Its became difficult, more pillar enemy has been formed, and she was left alone to solved the problem. Could she survive? Could Sonoka surpass her trauma? Well, the next episode seems pretty lit for me!

Quite the development. A secret base and the Gate of Valhalla. Something is up with Claudia, she might not know it herself, but being able to open the Gate of Valhalla means you're quite the "special" one, even among all Odin's daughters.

Azu went full on Indiana Jones or something entering Valhalla. That was kind of funny to behold.

So the Norse Mythology is explored in this episode, which they said that Northern Europe doesn't have a Mythology, so it's a new discover for everyone. That guardian that showed up looks like trouble and meanwhile Miko got trapped into something very ominous.

Also not liking the Miko death flags, I swear if they kill her off.....

Both groups got into trouble again, I have no idea what Claudia can do against the mini giant skeleton guardian thing. Miko also has her plate full with a brand new pillar... (death flags much?)

Sonoka seems to have the easier time but we will see how that birthing goes.

It seems that all the characters are completely unaware of the existence of Norse mythology...I guess Odin has been manipulating the world for a long, long time.

I dont' get if, with all these few last episodes as they are, how come this show still scored below 7 on MAL? I first thought that after ep 7, it will at least shows up on one of the weekly anime lists, but apparently no.
On the other note, just read the LN: Rusalka. Currently only the prologue has been translated (by fans, so unofficial), but it already looks mighty interesting. However, neither the Rusalka (2 Vols, published in jap Apr 20) or Sakura (Vol 1 published in jap Oct 20, Vol 2 in Dec 20) LN is even listed on MAL yet. WTH with that?

So many death flags, fuck. It seems that they are not aware of Norse mythology in this world, or Odin is doing some manipulating.

Really great buildup episode though, plus the cliffhanger fuck give me the next episode now. Azuzu's exploration outfit though lmao, exploring the Godly realms like it's a jungle, good shit.

Hopefully Sonoka regains her confidence, everyone needs Miko's positivity in their lives she's so positive :(( I don't want her to die, I don't want anyone of the 4 to die, fuck.

The dramatic tension and the emotional stakes continue to rise up with this episode. As the Japanese forces attempt to fight back after enduring a terrible defeat, Claudia finds something that might give humanity a chance for victory. Unfortunately, in the world of Warlords of Sigrdrifa, nothing's ever simple or easy, and this battle might be the hardest our heroes have ever fought in. This show continues to improve with each passing episode and I can't wait to see what happens next.

oh i get it, the portal is Valhalla's gate...

Yep, and I don't really get it. It has fun characters, great animation and art, and the story gets better with each episode. It's not a masterpiece but its certainly not a 6.3.

After that part with Uroboros and Greek mythology I can imagine that this isn't second cycle but there were more cycles.
Maybe there will be twist that our earth is cycle after Sigrdrifa....

Was pretty confused why they didn't know Thor and stuff but just realised that the Norse mythology isn't known in that world. I really hope Miyako and those three idiots don't die as they are on a similiar mission like big sister Amatsuka and her squad.
