Cutthroat is my favorite character… you guys are really starting to worry me with your "the opening predicts the order in which they die" theories. Would they seriously make it that obvious, though? I mean, it's not that hard to figure out and it pretty much spoils the entire series. I personally thought the blurred images inside their heads were supposed to hint at their backstories… Doctor's image is still her naked with roses covering her body, I can't imagine how she would end up dying like that unless it's stylized?

Oh damn... so at this point, I doubt there's gonna be a happy ending. This episode was just damn heartbreaking, from the children's past to the fact that Brother sacrificed himself for Sister.

I can't imagine what the hell Kanto will do with an immortal child but it's probably not gonna be anything good. I really hope things can end well somehow 😣

Also, I can't believe Doctor was the traitor... I really liked her as well. DAMN IT!

I had a feeling about Doctor, though I thought she'd be undercover rather than making a deal still as an Akudama.

This episode somehow felt like it let the dust of the previous one settle, for as much info and revelations as it did give out.

That "Keep feelings out of work." line is definitely going to be hitting different, in the next couple of weeks.

Cutthroat x Swindler
Courier x Doctor

IDC about everyone else besides these four, these better sail even tho most of them likely will all die

With Doctor revealed to be undercover, it looks like there’s also a certain girl from another series airing this season who isn’t alone infiltrating a group of people.

No she didn't, she probably struck a deal in the middle of it, I'd say when they all got off the shinkansen train after that that's also when she started being sus and cryptic with Swindler

I just found out something about the Akudama's they each represents 7 deadly sins

Courier : Pride (He takes pride in his work and will always make sure he do his job till the end)
Hoodlum : Greed (He really likes money and its actually the reason why he join the gang in the first place)
Hacker : Sloth (He's lazy he sometimes use his drone as the meaning of transportation instead of walking)
Doctor : Lust (Her outfit is really revealing and not to mention she has an ecstasy after he dissect the body of train passenger)
Brawler : Gluttony (He likes to eat meat like a lot of meat)
Cutthroat : Wrath (Everytime Swindler is in danger no matter the cost he always save her even if it means losing his leg)

And finally Swindler AKA Ordinary Person (Envy) , this is actually a theory mine she's probably a fan of Akudama that she want to become one of them

This episode had totally lost me long before it got to what was ostensibly the good part of stabbings and gougings. It begins with the next destination literally rising out of the ground in front of them, continuing how they're pretty much just teleporting from one spot to the next. It goes from there right into how they're supposedly fleeing to the moon because they're the product of a secret government experiment to create superhumans, and they somehow owe it to all the culled kids to… uh… be immortal psychic moon people?

Why Swindler didn’t say anything about Gorillas death? Simple, until the revelation of the mastermind of the plan were “kids”, she is always supporting them even when they say something like “I don’t card if Gorilla is dead, it’s his fault” and no saying anything about that, when it’s the exactly the same case when you were upset cause cutthroat actions and slapped him (that was unnecessary because we all know what cutthroat was capable of and this slap doesn’t gonna change anything)... “Oh no, but let’s support the kid because they are (innocent kids)”... Bro... swindler is a dump af... in previous episodes I liked her but now with all the kids stuff I hate her... it’s incredible how she even didn’t give an emotional support to Hoodlum that was very upset with the kid comment about Gorillas death and she didn’t say anything like “that’s not good” or just talk to Hoodlum like you talk with Motorcycle guy, no... let’s ignore the comment... you know what? Forget it... swindler is a selfish character. Hoodlum is god.

This show is actually getting better. Really good episode. I mean obviously the back story is dark AF but wasn't really expecting anything else tbh. Didn't expect the Doctor as the double agent. I am wondering if the moon really is destroyed.. seems a bit convenient that the lady had a remote that could take down the illusion. Should be interesting to see where that rocket goes.

Plot is getting ridiculous with the whole going to the moon thing... but I love it! We're up for a fun ride for these few remaining episodes.

Also the Doctor being a traitor?! I honestly didn't see it coming, she was my favorite :(

This series gives me video game vibes so much, I think it's set up really similarly with how a hack and slash game would be with this kind of story. It'd work really well with constant fight scenes and certain puzzles (like when they broke the security of the Kansai train station).

Calm down people. It wasn't that big of a plot twist. Literally everyone in this show is insane or traitorous in some way. Don't get me wrong, the show is very good and has very high production quality. However,

You cannot take their motives serious when they are constantly flip flopping constantly. Every decision is completely irrational, especially the "rational" thinkers.

For example:
Courier = trusts traitors unconditionally; but tells everyone else to stop being emotional. If I was back stabbed, lied about a job and had a bomb placed on my neck; then the rational thing would be to NOT TRUST the person I am serving. The moment he gets his dropped change back, the bad luck will finally kill this dude. For some guy telling everyone else to be rational; believes in irrational things.

Bruiser = Completely insane, plot seems to use his stupidity to validate his not random actions. Oh, because he hasn't done anything purely evil; just random fighting. There is a good chance the plot will revive him.

Swindler = Normal girl; too stupid to pay for her own food; and would rather serve life in prison or be executed just to give the change back to a stranger. That is the most rational thing anybody can do, right? The moment she gives the change back, she will get a boost of good luck; become a God; beat the boss of this anime with friend power; and live happily ever after.

Hoodlum = He is the most normal person of the group.

Cutthroat = Insanely high probability of dying. Dying will fulfill his goal. Don't forget I predicted this.

Doctor = Why the fuck would someone this smart volunteer to do this job? Was she just bored? Also, why would someone who volunteered to do this job be interested in trusting the executioners? Obvious cliche plot twist coming soon, when the executioners and doctor betray each other. Don't forget I predicted this.

An interesting episode. It was good to have some backstory of the children. I really like the Bunny and Shark bits that give us information throughout the episodes, and how they have become increasingly darker. The Doctor siding with the Executioners was something unexpected, as we didn't have any hints about it. Anyway, we cannot talk about a betrayal, as there was no loyalty to start with. Talking about that, I'm mildly annoyed by the Swindler and her behaviour, although there are no reasons for her to act tough like the Akudamas. I wonder if her name will be cleared at the end of the story, but knowing she cooperated with them, I doubt that will happen. I also wonder about her identity. She seemed to know something about the Shinkansen, as she talked about the inside of the station in that last episode.

I also wonder where's Hacker now. Did he survive in the train? Will he appear again? The same I ask myself too about the Executioner Pupil, though it's likely she'll come back to avenge her master. Anyway, this show has been so far so good, with its cuyberpunk aesthetics. That alone carries this show.

Overall the show is definitely improved every week. But the more I watched the more I disliked Swindler.

It's pretty action-packed episode especially towards the end with lots of thing happened from the backstory of the brother, to the betrayal of the doctor.

You aren't alone I don't like her too, I feel like they are trying to hard toake her innocent or nice or something like come on this is a group of crazy people, I was annoyed how she just taking the side of the kids not even asking the reason why should they follow the doctor was the only one who asked in the beginning but all of sudden she's asking who are you guys I was baffled

Honestly from the very beginning I knew her character would be annoying asf the moment she started siding with the kids who placed fucking bombs on her neck 🤷🏽‍♂️ is she ok or is she the mastermind behind this whole series acting like she's good but actually evil since the doctor kinda find Swindler sus

Honestly I saw it coming. Doctor was already starting to rub me the wrong way, and tbh it didn't come as a shock to me. I'm sad that hacker and brawler are out and she's still sticking around, they were both a lot cooler and less annoying.

On another note, cutthroat's reaction was adorable~

That Twist...

So the Doctor was an imposter all along. She does have that personality of a possible traitor so it's not that surprising but they did a good thing for not making it that predictable.

When did they make the deal and how did the executioner know about the destination...it could be that the Doctor had a tracker on her but then when so many executioners entered the city there must have been sounds of them entering which would make the siblings cautious and if they knew about the destination beforehand then the masked executioner wouldn't have had to fight them in the quarantine zone instead he could have fought them in that Expo Park.

Wow...that war was so hardcore that it destroyed the Moon but that city just got buried and is perfectly fine 'Ω'

The backstory of the siblings was kinda dull for some reason. It could be that I'm bored of this type of trope because these days most of the animes has this Guinea pig stuff going on so it's starting to get really typical. But the way they are showing it, it's still interesting since there are more mysteries to uncover.

I feel bad for Hoodlum, his conversation with Brawler always hyped up the mood.

So, Swindler is going to space, will she survive cause there's no oxygen there...

I really don’t understand Swindler’s logic. Cutthroat should get slapped because he doesn’t respect human life, but it’s totally fine that the little boy think very little of Brawler’s life. WTF?
I don’t even know if she thinks that kids can do no wrong because they’re little helpless thing? Or if Swindler actually has any relationship with the kids as they share very similar eyes?

Anyways, it caught me off guard to see that Doctor is a traitor. The backstory of the immortal kids was a bit touching. TFW Hoodlum subconsciously called Brawler’s name. Quite a good ep.

Hoodlum trying to talk to Brawler only to realise he wasn't there was a sad moment.

We finally have the backstory for the kids and it was more extreme than I imagined. That's an insane amount of kids sacrificed.

I guessed that there would be a traitor a few episodes ago but Doctor's actions still took my by surprise

The moon being destroyed was more hilarious than it should've been.

The "must have been the end of the tunnel" moment at the end was such a badass moment for Courier.
