| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Hubris was Tatsuki's downfall. By dismissing his cousin as worthless, assuming he had no good reason for staying far away, he missed out on a crucial piece of evidence. I suppose this is a common gesture, Zero can only succeed with the help of others, and he realizes this, realizing their worth and value. But a boy like Tatsuki will fall because he does not. Perhaps central to a king is acknowledging everybody's wisdom and being humble enough to accept it. In other words, valuing your people. As great as one is, we can't get by alone. |
