...y'all MAL forum regulars can come at me and call me "elitist" or "whiny" for this, but I don't wanna lie... something about the new Subarashiki Kono Sekai / The World Ends With You PV makes me feel... conflicted.

But I'll leave it at that for this thread, because I really don't want to give anybody the wrong idea here—I'm still so zetta excited for the anime adaptation!
Whatever "conflicted" feelings I'm having for certain decisions in the trailer doesn't make me any less hyped for what different direction the director has in mind here! I'm still getting used to the new vibrant color scheme, but I think the animation looks great! Not exactly sure if the animation quality is technically "stiff" or not here, but it certainly didn't feel that way to me... which is crazy considering the anime's trying its own take on TWEWY's heavily stylized art style, which I'd imagine would be difficult to animate. I didn't even realize that the main character was actually a CG model in one brief shot until after re-watching the PV several times, and considering how noticeable CG in most anime tends to be, I'm pretty sure not noticing that right away is a good thing!

The shot with the moving truck is pretty funny though—the frickin isekai trend made me never see moving trucks the same way again and y'all know you agree with me lmao

One Room got its third season? Hell, was it really that popular? Personally, I found it amusing, but nothing more.
