Why does this serie has such a low rating?

How come this series have such a low rating and S2 is much higher? Is it worth watching this Anime? Manga seems to have a much better rating. Does the adaptation just suck or what?

i've just finished season 1 and i give it a 6. the beginning of the anime was horrible, but after 6 episodes it got better and better, imo. now i want start season 2 and based on its rating i guess it has great progress in characters and story development in S2.

I personally liked it. It has a niche that makes the viewer feel uneasy for about 2 minutes then resolve itself in a natural manner. It was a rollercoaster.

One negative thing is how some drawings of the characters looked derpy in some frames. But the overall experience was pretty good

Plus not all shoujo in the anime industry gets the ending that will satisfy the viewer. Or the majority of it.

The anime is nothing special, I dropped it once and because I had company I managed to finish it the second time around. But even though I will finish its 2nd season soon, I can't recommend it. Its generic/average, borderline boring.

I couldn't disagree more. The show was a roller-coaster for me in regards to rating.

I watch a lot of drama and romance anime and you can say the same thing about every single one of them, as after you've seen a couple - you've seen them all.

The plot and setting is pretty cliche, as most of the romance shows follow a similar pattern, but the way they wrapped up the story and progression in regards to character development was spot on.

It's one of the few Romance shows that i enjoy and it took a top spot on my list by storm. The show is lighthearted and until the very end, was rather wholesome and didn't make me feel anxious about it.

The last episode was the only one that was a tear-jerker but other than that, i really liked the development of the relationships for the characters.

Looking back, the very first episode reeled me in as the way Iroha and Tsutsui met and developed interest in each other was unique, with jabs about his virginity and how he should keep it until he is 30 and becomes a respectable wizard. There have been a bunch of funny references and i found it refreshing that Iroha laid her desires bare from the get-go and we didn't have to watch 20 episodes of them being Tsundere and trying to hook up.

It did get annoying towards the middle of season one as Tsutsui was wishy-washy in regards to his self-esteem but overall First season ended rather well for the most part.

Season 2 is where things start to pick up and we get to see how everyone gets into a relationship and the finale of Iroha+Tsutsui's relationship as their half year period comes to an end.

Also thought Season 2 was better, that doesn't mean you can disregard the first one.

Overall it was a great show and i was sad to see it end, but i was rather happy with how everything ended.

I personally think this is one of the best animes I've ever seen. I don't want to spoil anything but I will say that I don't normally cry when watching anime. But the ones that are really good really make me cry. I think the character depth and the story and the music are incredible. I couldn't recommend this anymore. I just watched it for the third time and I think I cried more than I did the first two times. It's a 10 out of 10 for me.

I really enjoyed it, the formula looks pretty conventional on paper, but it had a satisfying mix of interesting characters, a generally upbeat but interestingly melodramatic plot arc, and an art style/music which was fairly well matched to the well paced narrative that had a satisfying conclusion with some wonderful plot resolutions.

It wasn’t just a typical rom com
The characters had depth
And I don’t get why the hate on the mc
There are people who have bad social and communication skills in this world who are misunderstood…. I feel for the guy he’s not a simp like the mc from rent a girlfriend….

It's just regular stuff. Yeah, some episodes were cringe but this lands an easy 7 from me. It got everything right and to a respectable quality. What more could I ask for?

Forgot all of the beginning tho lol and how they met 😭😭
