Does anyone else feel like the first 2 eps were really interesting and then ever since the show's been back from the Covid break it's been really underwhelming?
I don't know what it is but there's just a different feel to it now and I've lost interest gradually

I agree as well, the first two episodes were hilarious and after the break they never really hit their stride. Most of the new episodes tried to be more dramatic or have the theme of a thriller rather than being an absurd comedy. The first episode was especially funny, with its over-the-top style and ridiculous flamboyance.
it's over | we're so back | don't take this too seriously

It's funny that you say that, because I completely feel the opposite way. The first two episodes I wasn't really feeling, but once the anime came back I've been liking it a lot more. Not sure what it is, time made the heart grow fonder?

For me, it is same. The only thing negative that I have noticed after the comeback is that the animation quality dropped but that's to be expected as most of the time, the animation drops after a few eps.

I feel like there's huge gap in between the storyline from ep2 to ep3,feels all over the place.

I felt lost since in episode 3 when it came back, Daisuke suddenly follows/trust Haru's actions suddenly. When before he didn't care.

just wanna feel wanted by someone other than the police 😫

I don't know what's going on behind the scenes but I think they were supposed to go to Hong Kong after episode 2 but given the virus and the current state of China and its government, they must've scrapped the episode and instead it's going to be a drama CD, I think. It explains why there's a difference with Haru's and Daisuke's relationship. Something tells me that if the Hong Kong episode were to air, China's government would have an issue with it and the show and studio would be in trouble. That's what I think, at least.

I'm the exact same. I did enjoy the first episodes before the break but the new ones since coming back feel so much more better.

Actually it has been much better - with episode 3 where other guy participated in Daisukes tech stuff (he used the AI butler to scan mails of the perpetrator). Then episode 4 where Daisuke participated in the other guy's life (staying at his place for the night).

The case in episode 5 also was nice.

Case 1 was good as well but I thought the 2nd episode was a bit boring compared to 1 and 3-5. So definitely better with 3 and the following.

Edit: We also got background stuff. The grandmother seems to have lots of influence.

Weirdly enough, I find it to be much better. Episode 5 was exciting.

Not really, still has everything I liked the first two episodes. Each episode always escalates in the most awesome ways possible

Given that it's not original, still quite enjoyable even with the 3 months COVID delay.

Better thank God that this has source material backing it up, so it's not like the stories are chosen or even made at random.

I actually heard from a novel reader that the anime is taking a lot of liberty with the adaption
