| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Best episode of the show so far. Worthy of inclusion into Anime's Hall of Fame, I think. They got everything spot on, from humour, tension, drama, music, everything. We even get to see some nipple! (in the Gekigangar show) Izumi even got some development, which was very poignant indeed. I think they've pretty much developed every character to a reasonable level, which is no mean feat for a comedic show like this. Even TTGL, which is Nadesico's successor, didnt develop every character to any kind of level (Leeron for example) Plus, an obvious riff of Evangelion's finale too, and just like every other homage in this show, it didnt come off gimmicky but used successfully as part of the plot. |

| Holy SHIT Another random episode, another GREAT one at that. Fucking hell So should I be watching Nadesico to enjoy each individual episode by itself? Because that's how I really feel at this point. That was basically BACCANO! before BACCANO!. That shit was FANTASTIC. |
| Yes, this show is so great partialy because there is no background, faceless, fodder characters. I often like secondary characters more than leads in anime, and with Izumi I fell in love from the start, she is so precious. While being a comic relief, they made her into a real character, even more so with this episode, but you realy could tell there is something about her right away - that there are actual why's for her eccentricity, realistical why's - that just awesome. You can take any character and there would be a logic behind them. Nadesico actualy makes not only secondary characters, but all the staff seem alive and that also makes a show more than a story of Akito and Yurika (it obviously is more than that). Nadesico has content for at least three shows of it's size stuffed in 26 eps, it's unbelievable. |

| Damn! It felt like it went Evangelion in the middle. With all the timeline jumps and memory combine and all. Really loving the episode! Seems the Jovian is ready to talk about Peace, but in the end it's all about the woman XD Also, didn't know Izumi already had two lovers and both die of natural/accident. Everyone started singing in the PV!!! |
| Quite a lot of jumps between the times of things occuring, despite the bit hard to follow moments, I have to say this was an amazing episode with how the characters are facing their problems (loss of loved ones) and the development in the war (Akito managing to do the bosun jump and Jovians wanting peace) |
