| I feel like this series is kind of weak. To be fair towards its production, I recognize that, by recent standards, the looks are quite refreshing. As for the pacing, the comedy that surrounds the character interactions as well as the battles tries its best to relieve and lighten the mood. The characterization is a bit shallow, but perhaps it is what it means to be comedic. It is a nice point that by the third episode, an effort put to thicken the plot appears. It does so while maintening a mood it sticks to with consistency in other aspects, too. Now, as for the weakness. The main selling point, I would say, is the rare perspective given from a business environment. And it feels this is just used as an in-the-background type of canvas. Like the main charms aren't about it. Nor each episodic plot. In the second episode, it wasn't so much the case, but as far as it's aired up till now, that is how I feel. What about you? | I would agree honestly. For me, there is an interest in this show for sure. The idea of running a recruitment agency for adventures? What's not to like about that? But honestly, it just feels...Flat in some areas? While it's not a super bad show, but it doesn't feel good either in some cases. Generic and plain you could say. While I do think it's gotten better as episodes have gone on, but still kinda meh anime at the moment. |

Dunnas said: I wasn't planning on watching Princess Connect Re Dive at all (nor this one initially, but figured i'd give one of the game based anime a go), but I watched the first two episodes of that last night, after Mother's Basement praised it in a recent video and mentioned that it is directed by the Konosuba director, and it is so much better than this pile of lazy nonsense for a game based fantasy show. Each of the three main girsl introduced in Princess Connect have more personality and likability after the first 2 episodes than the entire cast of this show put together. Princess connect is worth watching so far just by how great animation is, but you shouldn't ever listen to that shill. |

| Overall it is weak anime on the level with Isekai Cheat Magician. Good example is that I completely forgot that I watched 3th episode only Poll on mal post remained this to me. |

For example he made recently where he praised Bofuri and it's game yet about 2 years ago he made video about shitting on SAO the in-universe game as terribly made. And they are basically same shit minus death risk in first arc. |

But overall he never mentioned that game in Bofuri is "better" than in SAO. NWO have many similar problems as SAO(game) but two biggest difference between these games are ingame world design (NWO being more imaginative and less frustrating for new/players) and intentions behind them in which Bofuri as an anime is basically a celebration of having fun playing video games. |
