| I enjoyed this episode a lot. My favourite parts were inside Yuugi's mind and Shadi's encounter with the other Yuugi |
| It was an interesting and long episode (I mean many things happened). The next episode's preview looks strange, though. |

| Best episode so far. The Egyptian theme is well explored (the author clearly did good research): the games, the judgment, the Book of the Dead, the role of tomb guardians, the Pharaoh’s preservation, the secrecy around names, etc. There was further development of the concepts behind Yugi’s "other self," and the new character is intriguing. The skit about the characters visiting the museum was funny, and the OST was noticeably better than in previous episodes. The Shadow Game was a challenge to find the true Pharaoh’s chamber—this time initiated not by Yugi, but by his challenger, Shadi. It wasn’t particularly exciting, but it worked well within the narrative. A solid use of the concept. |
