THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

Well then , there is a certain dude named Burado Ayame, who is probably some kind of Mad scientist.

Oh , shit for Manji, he's gonna be dissected and be a science experiment.

Dewanosuke is a true bro. I thought he was going to be a scumbag the first time he appeared in the manga (even Manji states this), but he's a cool dude when you know him.

The part with Rin was funny. Those two are not making things easy for her. And she's still yet to know their secret.

"Shortcut" arc this episode, finishing up the small bits with Rin.

In the pursuit to find Manji, Rin holes up somewhere else with the Mugai-Ryu remnants after Manji went missing and captured to former Mugai-Ryu captain Kagimura Habaki or an experiment, and leading this is Burando Ayame, a scientist hired to inspect Manji's immortalised body.

Dewanosuke truly is one true bro, sacrificial for the job whilst conversing with him.

Looks like Kagimura has found a way to make others immortal...but not without more help needed. That, will continue in the next episode.

Man I really dislike this Habaki dude. I hope our boy can find a way to escape soon.

Knowing that Manji-san will be cut... That displeases me!
Rin is in a bigger situation than you think...

My god, every episode is so impossibly hard to follow with this pacing.....I keep watching the new episodes and getting confused and thinking "I did watch LAST weeks episode right?" till I remember that that's just how the show is......

Like when did Rin get a house????? Weren't she and Manji literally in a fucking SHED last episode before he went missing?

I try so hard to ignore the cocaine-overdosed pacing since this show really does have solid production, but man is it fucking hard.......

The prison arc is the most boring arc I've experienced so hopefully they skip a lot. Pretty much ruined the manga for me.

Huh, I somehow missed it in the previous episode, but that's Kugimiya Rie as Doa. Awesome casting, I love her in these types of roles.

Also Kusao Takeshi as Burando, now there's a voice I haven't heard in a while (besides when playing as Trunks in Dragon Ball games).

The last episode showed her entering a house with the label "Mutenichi-ryuu dojo". Maybe that was was a little vague considering it's been a while since that name was last said, but yeah, that's her family's dojo, which was attacked by the Itto-ryuu two years before and is now abandoned. That's why in this episode she said a horrible thing had happened there before.

But yeah, the pacing is messy, but it is what it is.

I wouldn't go that far, but yes, it was definitely the manga's lowest point and it killed a lot of the steam it had built up to the point that the story never fully recovered from it, sadly. As a result, I was expecting them to blast through this arc in the anime, but surprisingly they're taking their time (relatively speaking anyway), since by the preview it seems it still won't be concluded next week.

I mean, I don't dislike the prison arc part...it's just that in the manga it drags way too long. It could have been more condensed. Overall the pacing in Blade of The Immortal is not that good. We're in for the badass fights. And I think we are getting most of it, anyways. Enjoying it.

Ugh!! I didn't realize the series was still airing. I hate waiting a week for a new episode. I like to binge watch the whole thing.

What happened to episode 15? I can't seem to find it anywhere? Or has it not aired yet. Unless my sense of time is flawed, it's been a week right?

So that other immortal dude lived 200 years with those worms and didn't try this trick even once? With all that drama about dead wives and friends? He was not a very smart man, huh...

Thankfully they used anesthesia on Manji, otherwise it would've been some top-class pain. A massive pile of information on Manji's immortality, and I'm enjoying it!

Another good one, maybe this show can be good! Lab experiments are a cool plot. The Rin part was funny too!
