I must watch that anime. Ashita no Joe is my all time favorite sports anime and this anime from my understanding is it's spiritual successor. I'm glad that it got another season^^

This is extremely unexpected. The anime started well and ended well but the in-between was a mixed bag for me personally. Didn't even feel like it was that popular either, even though I hyped it after the first few episodes myself. Thought they would do the solid Ashita No Joe homage and be done with it as the anime really didn't really feel that substantive (although a few episodes delved into pretty relevant topics like the soldier one) as a whole and unless they have a more focused, more unpredictable story, the sequel is just not worth the time.

On one hand, a series like that doesn't need a continuation; on the other, I could never ignore a continuation of one of the best anime of the last few years. <3

Shocking news!

I really don’t know, I feel like the ending of Season 1 was more than good enough. Here’s to hoping this won’t dent the already-great franchise, on that note.

And of course looking forward to this nonetheless!

Good news. I was expecting a big hit from this show in the beginning and got a bit disappointed in the end. Nevertheless, it's still a good anime, and i do hope it gets better from where the 1st season left off.
