Welp, they had this episode continued from a mini arc last time. The relations between the main members of Trickstar will forever be what it is.

Felt like both of these episodes were important to give a glimpse at the group together and individually.

Continuing w. last ep.

Fine on top and atmosphere is weird, even that red hair guy in the room. He already damaged by Fine from what they did.

Midorikawa-san's character got a chance to talk to the guy he admires.

The time when Eguchi-san's character in same unit as that red hair guy and that wild guy.

Fine's final performance?

Back to current time, Trickstar wins. Maeno-san's character got a letter from grandmother.

There are glimpses of something profound about youth in here, and heck, maybe even a semblance of a plot. But golly, it's so difficult to follow, it all just gets lost and fails to leave any impression.

yea I have absolutely no clue what's going on

Only saving grace in this show is that it has probably some of the best songs for idol anime

This episode felt a little confusing. It was a difficult to follow the plot for some reason.

And the shitshow continues with that scumbag Eichi... and is Aoba some kind of dope? He literally calls one of the other boys on the phone and OFFERS HIM MONEY to bribe him back from visiting some religious monument, and even Eichi wonders how he's doing what he tells him without being bothered by it.

NO, if you create CONFLICT you are not some heroic "revolutionary". Trying to change things by manipulating people and deliberately ruining their lives is the worst, stupidest, most vile method I've ever heard of trying to bring change. That's total BS. So then Aoba spots Rei Sakuma from the window, and goes to talk to him. What Rei says to him after tickling and joking with him (okay Aoba might be a dope but he's so cute) is really a surprise how completely clueless Aoba is acting... what an idiot, but then he whispers something cruel into Eichi's ear before walking away. Then the show plays up the drama by having Eichi faint as if we're supposed to feel sorry for that scumbag. NO. He's a toxic piece of trash, using money and the power he somehow has (don't ask me how) to do nasty things; and he's delusional AF on top of it.
Well then the lovely Natsume has some harsh words for Aoba and tells him straight up that he's out of his mind and he hates Fine and their schemes, "You guys never seem to dirty your hands! How convenient!" Natsume wants to win the next DesFres competition against Fine, which should be easy since Fine is shit but of course, the weirdo in the group wants to follow Eichi's script and purposefully lose so that the All Powerful Authority can be on top, for no reason at all. What a joke. I'm starting to hate that idiot too with his eccentric shtick.

Oh then at the end they play it like Eichi is nice because he's releasing Aoba, Nagisa and Hiyori from the contract and throwing them out of Fine... because Aoba carried out all his schemes and intentionally hurt people at his command, and he doesn't want him to have to hurt people anymore, "isn't that nice?" NO! IT'S F^#$%NG TWISTED!!!!!!

I can't wait for the lecture this show tries to give us about how "Hey kids- toxic leader isn't toxic he's POWERFUL and POWER is good! It's okay to hurt people as long as you can claim your intentions are good! Because having good intentions and being nice is actually evil! It's evil cuz when you treat one person nice there was another you didn't treat nice and that's the same as being mean! See how we twist around logic here?"
