It was closed since "Score threads don't encourage discussion, only arguments and baiting between people who liked and disliked the show." according to the moderator Barnald. This thread will probably suffer the same fate in no time. Funny though that it surpassed Vinland Saga which is receiving so much praise. Otherwise, they are some boosters working to increase artificially. It should finally converge below 8.3. |
| It's delivering better than many popular anime. No one would question Shield Hero getting a high score despite being a generic isekai, but once an actually good anime stars suddenly it's suspect? It's just that good. |
| Yes it is the highest rated season of the series because of how impressive and crazy this season has been so far, it's basically the End Of Eva for Symphogear but alas the score also went up due to alt account score boosting so I would trust the original 7.69 score it had once cause that was from single accounts of fans of the franchise. |

| Yes, and yes. Five season in, the only people watching this are hardcore fans and the stubborn people that adamantly refuse to NOT watch a show to its final conclusion even when they hate it. But also, XV is ABSOLUTELY pulling out all the stops to make this the best season yet. Every episode just keeps topping the last - this is PEAK Symphogear. |

Original score was 8.05, 7.69 is 4th season's score. Ah alright. Yet the extreme score boost has been from alt accounts however from the fans watching this it is the highest rated season |

| Katsumi Ono who worked on 5d's did improve over the year after his only dissapoiment ARC-V. He worked only on Yu-Gi-Oh series till Symphogear got me popular. |

If he/she doesn't exist, Vinland's score would be 8.65 and there's so many Symphogear XV downvoters too (%2.3 scoring 1). Downvoters and boosters are balancing each other on Symphogear's score. It’s practically a war between two factions right now, but I honestly love both this and Vinland Saga, so it’s now rather amusing to me personally. |

| I'm not watching this anime, but out of curiosity I checked it, and without that 2.8% of hater votes, the score would actually be higher than that of KnY, 8.78 |

| I'm not saying that the show is bad, it's clearly an improvement compared to the previous ones, but it has its huge share of bots boosting the MAL score. Just browse the stats tab, "recently updated by all members". Go through some pages and the answer will be there. Here's an exemple : |

Not sure how you computed that the boosters and downvoters balance each since on the thread I quoted someone had computed that it should be below 8.3 without the boosters. This may have changed in the meantime though. In all cases above 8 is really decent for this website and this indicates that season 5 is well-received. Otherwise I would really like to have someone explaining to me why people want to artificially change the average, since it objectively does not help future viewers (I asked the booster on the above-mentioned thread, but I did not receive a reply...). |

| Thread locked for not encouraging discussion. Threads about ranking and/or scores just encourage flame wars between people who liked the show and people who disliked it. They don't promote any kind of actual discussion. You may also use this thread if you want to talk about overrated/underrated anime. |
